Can stubborn pigmentation really fade?
Yes, with the right approach, it can. This client struggled with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone, but our Diamond Skin Care protocol tackled it head-on by:
1. Calming inflammation
2. Safely dissolving excess pigment
3. Restoring a strong skin barrier. The result: Clearer, smoother, radiant skin. No harsh treatments, no downtime, and no dry skin.

Melasma and pigmentation occur when the skin produces excess melanin in localized areas. The primary triggers include: Hormones, such as those experienced during pregnancy, birth control pill usage, and hormone replacement therapy, which is why melasma is often referred to as the "mask of pregnancy". Thyroid issues can also contribute to this condition. Sun exposure, particularly UV rays, is the leading trigger, and even minimal sun exposure can exacerbate existing spots. Additionally, visible light and heat from screens or cooking can worsen the condition. Genetics also play a role, with melasma often running in families, especially those with Asian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, and African skin tones. If a family member, such as a mother or sister, has melasma, an individual's likelihood of developing it increases. Inflammation and skin trauma, including acne, eczema, harsh chemical peels, and laser treatments gone wrong, can lead to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, characterized by dark spots remaining after the skin heals. Other contributing factors include certain medications, such as anti-seizure drugs, antibiotics, and chemotherapy drugs, as well as cosmetics and skincare products containing irritating fragrances or ingredients. Stress can also raise cortisol levels, stimulating pigment cells. Our treatment aims to improve skin health, strengthen the skin barrier, and address pigmentation and melasma at the dermis layer without resorting to needling or peeling.
