This is caused by a natural loss of volume in the cheek area, or what the experts call age-related midface volume loss. It was another awesome day of learning.

I especially loved the session “The Facial Form in 3D” chaired by the one and only artist Prof. Micheal Esson.

An Honorary Professor of Art and Surgery at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Institute of Academic Surgery and at the University of New South Wales Art and Design and was an artist–in–residence at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and runs courses designed to develop the visual awareness in plastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. His work deals almost exclusively with the human body, it’s structure and vulnerability. Check him out .esson
