Well… the government has decided small businesses weren’t suffering enough, so here’s another little financial kick directly to the va**na. 😭
From 1 October, card surcharges are being banned but payment providers will still charge businesses processing fees.
So the fee didn’t disappear.
It just changed victims. How fu***ng magical.
Apparently we’re expected to absorb everything: rent, wages, super, products, insurance, electricity, merchant fees and the occasional mental breakdown in the staff bathroom.
At this point, I don’t own a business I own an expensive hostage situation with a Candela. 😭
So, moving forward, appointment payments will be accepted via:
PayID
Bank transfer
Cash
The EFTPOS machine will be laid to rest following a long, toxic and financially abusive relationship. In lieu of flowers, please transfer directly.
We know card payments are convenient, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding. We’re not trying to be difficult we’re trying to keep our girls paid, our machines firing and the fu***ng doors open.
