Seeing the positive is a skill 💕
Especially in the face of motherhood.
On your hard days. It can be really difficult to pull yourself out of those hard moments.
But try this..
Be mindful.
Take a moment.
Make a conscious effort to find the good in your day.
Journal these moments.
Take gratitude.
You don’t know how much this will help fuel you.
And like any skill if you take 2 or 5 mins at the end of each day, you can grow this to twice a day or several times a day.
So train your mind to be mindful.
See the good in every moment.
And you will see how this can change your mindset.

Here’s your reminder that you’ve got this Mama!
No matter how hard the days may seem.
These storms - the hard seasons, the tough phases are what builds us as people and as Mamas.
They’re the times where you show just how strong and resilient you are.
They are the moments that shape us as Mamas 💕
While they are the hardest and most challenging times.
They are also the most rewarding.
The most character building.
The place you can show your perseverance, build your integrity, realise your values are and see just what you’re capable of.
So next time you’re riding out the storm.
Be kind to yourself.
Give yourself grace.
Give yourself compassion.
Just remember there is a stronger, braver, wiser, better you on the other side 💕

Do you ever feel like these hard seasons or tough phases are like storms?
Filled with uncertainty, never knowing how long it will last or when it will pass.
But they’re not just there to cause chaos, although it feels like that most of the time when you’re in the thick of it.
Breathe.
Take a step back.
Think of these moments as your opportunity to grow and learn.
Some storms actually come through to help guide you on the right path.
They are there to bring clarify and clear the way for the greatest journey yet.
So sometimes let we just need to let go, embrace the challenges that are infont of us and see where it takes us.
After all don’t rainbows appear after storms 🌈
So you’ve got this Mama!
Ride out the hardest of days.
The storm pass eventually.
And just wait to see what’s on the other side 💕

Those Mamas in the thick of it right now.
The constant night wakes.
The teething cries.
The clingy whinges.
The frustrated screams.
The assertive negotiations.
Phases that feel like they will never end.
Phases that are time demanding, emotional draining and physically exhausting.
But remember that every phase comes and goes.
You never know when those hard phases will end and those moments become lasts.
The last time you had to rock your little one to sleep.
The last time they snuck in your bed to sleep.
The last time they cried over you giving them a blue plate instead of a green one.
I know it’s hard in the moment but try and embrace it while you still can.
One day you will miss those long embraces with your little ones or when the little negotiations where the most of your problems.
So in those hard moments, remember this too shall pass 💕

Small Mindfulness habits that you can integrate into your day 💕
I love that Mindfulness isn’t something that needs to be all consuming.
But rather it is a tool to help you feel grounded.
More in the moment.
It is a strategy that can help reduce stress and anxiety.
Help you tackle whatever phase of motherhood or life you are in.
So in those moments when things feel heavy and like it’s all too much.
Try some of these and see what works for you.

Self care 🥰💕
It comes in so many different forms.
Yet it is something that is so neglected for most Mamas.
It is time to be let go of expectations.
Be kind and gentle with yourself.
Embrace self love and self compassion.
Set up simple habits that will bring peace and serenity.
Whether it is journaling your thoughts, intentionally taking time for your morning routine with no interruptions, setting boundaries with others or taking a walk.
Prioritise yourself 💕
Find your calm in the chaos.
Remember there is no one like you. No one that can do what you do.
Use that as your super power.
You have more power than you know.
The power to protect yourself and your family. Create the life you want and don’t settle for anything less.

What is mindfulness? And why is it important?
Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present and engaged in the moment without judgement.
It is about being intentionally aware of your thoughts and feelings and your surrounding environment with acceptance and openness.
It is through Mindfulness that you can cultivate greater awareness to the things that matter, enhance your focus to achieve your goals, reduce stress and improve your overall health and wellbeing.
When you add motherhood to this crazy world that is life, things can get a little hectic.
With the constant pushing and pulling and ups and downs of life and being a Mama, it is so important to slow down and appreciate the here and now.
Mindfulness can be a tool to do just that.
Live in the moment.
Take it all in.
Appreciate the small things.
Like any skill, it takes time and practice to integrate it as part of your life.
That’s where Mindful Mama comes in 💕
Mindful Mama is to help you find ways to be more mindful.

Any mamas in a tough phase or a hard season right now?
Me too! 🫶🏻
Some days it’s hard to see beyond how overwhelming everything feels right now.
They say the days are long and the years are short for a reason.
You know one day you will miss this hard part but in the thick of it all it’s hard to remember just that.
So this is your reminder.
Be present.
Be gentle.
Be kind.
You’re doing your best and that’s all your littles need 🥰
This phase or season will pass and things will get easier.
Then you will wonder how you got through it all.
Now that it’s over.
And that’s when you will miss it the most 💕💕

Building resilience 💕
Something I wish I had learned to embrace more growing up and something I passionately want to teach my children.
Mistakes are not to be feared.
Mistakes are part of being human.
Mistakes are the way we learn and grow.
It’s when we are challenged and pushed to think beyond what we know and our comfort zones, where we can truly discover the best parts of ourselves.
