Being one of the few medical practitioners selected to use Toskani Med ahead of its Australian launch has given me the opportunity to work with the technology since the end of last year, well before it became available more broadly in Australia.
One of the most interesting aspects of using these protocols in clinical practice has been seeing how the skin responds over time.
This patient presented with severe eczema compromised skin, so the focus was not simply on aesthetics. The priority was supporting the skin barrier, improving hydration and overall skin quality while taking a conservative, clinically appropriate approach.
The results demonstrate an improvement in the overall appearance and quality of the skin, with a healthier, more hydrated and more refined appearance.
For patients with sensitive or reactive skin, treatment selection matters. It’s not about doing more, it’s about understanding the condition of the skin, choosing appropriate actives and delivery methods, and knowing when the skin is ready for treatment.
These are the kinds of clinical outcomes I look for when introducing new technologies and protocols into my practice.
Early access means nothing without clinical results. This is why I’ve loved being able to use Toskani Med in practice since last year and follow my patients’ progress over time.

The skin analyser tells the story.
Following our Quadessy RF Microneedling and Toskani Meso synergy Protocol, this patient demonstrated measurable changes across multiple skin parameters:
• Deep & superficial pigmentation
• Skin brightness
• Porphyrin readings
• Skin barrier indicators
The improvement in skin barrier indicators is particularly important. A healthy skin barrier supports hydration retention and contributes to overall skin quality and appearance.
We also observed an improvement in porphyrin readings, giving us another objective measure to monitor changes in the skin beyond what is visible to the eye.
This is why we use skin analysis throughout a personalised treatment plan, to objectively monitor changes rather than relying on photographs alone.
