This past long weekend, I spent 72 hours off social media…AFTER spending the first 24 hours doom scrolling in a state of nervous system collapse.
Watching other people live their lives…
yes, their Instagram lives -
but the feeling of being behind was so present,
and the scrolling felt non-stop.
A beautiful friend gently brought me back into my body with two simple pieces of advice.
“First things first - delete the app from your phone.
If you have to go through the browser, it creates just enough space between you and the habit.”
And then she asked me,
“If a client presented with these triggers and nervous system symptoms… what would your advice be?”
This is how it landed ♡
1. Coopers Park is my 1st stop if ever my chest feels tight. 5 minutes from home…and it still takes my breath away every.
2. Still a Dane at heart… but applying for my Australian citizenship ♡
3. Dinner with the moon.
4. Learning & leaning into spaces that expand me. Personally & professionally. So excited to have I joined the family earlier this year.
5. A reset, in its simplest form.
6. Letting myself receive.
7. With so much gratitude ♡
8. Nature doing what it does best.
9. I forgot I had this - my nervous system remembered immediately.

We’re not meant to do life alone.
We’re wired for connection,
and the right people can gently bring your body out of stress, without you having to force anything.
Your body is constantly responding
to the energy, presence, and safety of the people around you.
This is co-regulation.
Even the smallest moments…
a hug, a laugh, sitting close to someone you trust can shift how you feel more than you realise.
So if you notice you feel lighter, calmer,
or more at ease around certain people…
pay attention to that.
Your body is showing you what safety feels like 🤍
I’m someone who really loves preparing food, music and moments for people.
There’s something about creating a space where people can land, soften… connect.
But I also know that co-regulation starts and ends with our sensory connection to ourselves.
How we feel in our body.�Our breath.�
Our capacity to stay with ourselves in the middle of it all.
This Easter has come around so quickly, and it’s actually been the most enjoyable time connecting with girlfriends, celebrating what feels like a fast but really meaningful start to the year.
Co-regulation is everything.�Connection matters 🤍
And, trust me, the food, fun & wine lands differently when you’re grounded enough to actually receive it.

A little studio & life update feels overdue.
My beautiful leased home & home studio has been put up for sale by the owners.
It’s been a bit of a whirlwind start to the year and I won’t pretend it hasn’t rattled me a little.
But I’m also genuinely excited by the idea of creating a new home for I Am Beauty. Growth rarely arrives quietly.
I’ve been a little quieter here lately, that’s why.
I’ve been tending to the foundations - personally and professionally.
I’ve been pouring myself into the treatment room.
Into each of you.
Thinking beautiful thoughts while my hands are working.
When something shifts this suddenly, the noise around it can feel overwhelming.
But I trust there’s something greater taking shape, even if I can’t see it yet.

Your nervous system wasn’t designed to live indoors.
It evolved in rhythm with nature, guided by sunlight, grounded by soil, regulated by the sounds and sensations of the natural world.
But modern life has us spending nearly 90% of our time inside, under artificial light, disconnected from the cues our biology depends on for balance.
Research shows that even brief exposure to nature, as little as 10 to 15 minutes, can lower cortisol, slow the heart rate, and activate the parasympathetic nervous system (the part responsible for rest and repair).
Studies from Stanford University and the University of Essex link time outdoors with reduced anxiety, improved mood, and better cognitive function.
This isn’t coincidence, it’s biology.
Your body remembers nature. It’s where your system recalibrates and finds safety again.
So step outside. Let sunlight meet your eyes. Breathe in fresh air. Feel your feet on the earth.
Regulation doesn’t always look like ritual, sometimes, it’s simply returning to where you came from.

There’s so much focus on talk therapy and mindset work and while they’re powerful, healing doesn’t begin and end in the mind.
Energy and somatic treatments invite the body into the conversation.
They work with what lives beneath words: sensation, pattern, memory, emotion.
Over the years, I’ve found that the deepest healing happens when cognitive understanding meets energetic release.
When we integrate talk and touch, awareness and embodiment, healing becomes whole.
These four modalities have supported me through change, grief, growth, and expansion. They’re gentle, potent, and deeply restorative, perfect for those navigating stress, trauma, or nervous system dysregulation.
