Here is just a little glimpse into today’s makeup look for a beautiful pair of TTDEYE lenses. They turn my blue eyes into a beautiful 3D Caramel.
The colour is called 𝙍𝙊𝙈𝙀 𝘽𝙍𝙊𝙒𝙉. They are stunning with a beautiful limbal ring and lenses with a limbal ring are my favourite type of lenses.

Here’s the lovely Jodie. I hope you liked the makeup and hair and I hope you had a great Birthday.

When I do makeup looks with coloured lenses I always look for inspiration for a particular style of makeup that will enhance either that colour lens or specific style of lens eg Halloween/dress up lens and the makeup I’m wanting to create for that lens. I often find a reference photo, not to copy but to be my starting point. Pretty much every time, actually every time I use a reference photo my look in the end turns out totally different.
We all need inspiration at times in anything we do. Whether it’s creative arts or life in general. My last post I used a starting point reference photo. I’m posting it now with my end look to show how I may have a look in front of me yet my brushes and products take me down a completely different road. In this look, like many of my others, turned into abstract style. The looks I create on myself on my page rarely turn out like the mainstream makeup looks I do on clients.

Here’s a beautiful Green pair of TTDEYE lenses. They are not subtle and they are not over the top. However if you want a pair that is pigmented and stands out nicely then these are what you need. They are from the JK Series. A lot of different light coloured browns can go a green shade over my blue eyes but not like these ones. These are green green.

See, I look different in an untouched photo versus an edited photo. I’m not going to pretend. Comparing an unedited makeup look photo from my phone side by side to an edited photo taken on my Canon 7D. I never want people to think things like: “Geez Tracey’s skin looks good for 45 yrs old” or things of that nature. My page are my passions together. Hell yeah, I edit my photos, sometimes more with some looks than others. Yes I slightly smooth pores over, occasionally edit forehead wrinkles, but never the smile lines around my eyes. But my editing skills are far from the Instagram influencers that go over the top which in turn can really have an effect on someone’s self esteem. I’m far from perfect, yes I edit photos as creatively as I can. I do it for enjoyment and do it to challenge my creativity to do looks with specific types/colours of contacts lenses.

TTDEYE has recently sent me some new Lenses, so a massive thank you to TTDEYE. This particular pair won’t be on their site until January but are lovely Aqua blue with no patterns with a darker blue solid limbal ring. I just had to do a bit of an out there look for these. Blue lenses on top of blue eyes = extra blue. I have added a comparison photo also. Actually I’ve said before that my natural eye colour is mid range blue but with these extra blue lenses in they make my natural eyes look dull in colour.

PLEASE READ BELOW, THIS LOOK IS IMPORTANT TO ME. This makeup/eyeshadow look was inspired firstly by the beautiful colour lenses from the awesome TTDEYE. Secondly, the beautiful caramel they turned my blue eyes into which gave me a 1950’s modern version vibe. Oh man do I like the 50’s. Knowing my Nana grew up and was wearing all the 50’s style makeup and clothes. She was a Dress Maker and a Fashionista. Remembering what she looked like in her photos, ever so beautiful, so more importantly this look is Inspired by you Nana. We miss and love you and I hope you like this look.

“TTDEYE- Wear your Glow” Comparison right here between an unedited and edited photo. Everyone knows that usually in the beauty world or I suppose anything these days, people edit or use filters on their photos. Heck I know I do. I don’t go overboard but I actually need to. During the photography process a lot of colour gets lost. Also depending on how much light or what light source you use can change the look of makeup. I get Kaitlin or Keely to take my photos after a makeup look and when I upload them to the computer the amount of eyeshadow I’m wearing literally looks like half of what I’m really wearing. However one thing I will NEVER do and that is I never edit the colour of the contact lenses. Considering my mission is showing accurate colours of coloured lenses on Blue eyes to show other light eyed people. This post is a before editing photo from my phone vs edited from my camera. I’m wearing TTDEYE lenses in one of my favourite colours. 👇🏼

FAKE GORE: When I chose these lenses from the TTDEYE website and saw the photo of the lens by itself I knew exactly how these were going to look. I definitely knew they weren’t going to be subtle on my eyes. Because it is October, the crazy Halloween month I thought I really should play the gruesome game. So this look is a bit of low key gore mainly because I’m not great a Special fx and I used these gold/mustard lenses. I’ve used lenses that have a gold look but these ones are a much stronger gold look on my blue eyes. I’m so interested in seeing what they look like on a realistic brown eyed person. I will do a normal makeup look for these lenses. They deserve to get an unusual look plus a realistic eyeshadow look.

I love a dark brown contact lens, especially with a large pupil hole because I get this outcome shown in the photos. The outcome is that the outer half of my eye is brown and closer to the pupil is the blue of my eye showing.
