What’s the difference? 🤍

They can both be beautiful options, but they give you very different results.

Grey blending works with your natural greys, softening them into your colour for a more natural result and a softer grow-out.

Grey coverage is for when you’d prefer your greys more completely covered and want a more solid colour result.

The right choice really comes down to you. Your natural hair, how much grey you have, the result you love and how much maintenance you realistically want.

Because your colour should work with your lifestyle, not the other way around.

Before Marlee was “helping” in the salon, there was baby Layla.

She took her role very seriously… apron on, gloves ready and the biggest smile on her face. 🥹

Looking back at these little moments reminds me how special it is that my salon has grown alongside my family. Watching my girls create their own little salon memories while I do what I love is something I’ll never take for granted.

Some things never change… apparently I’ve always had a little assistant by my side. ✨

While I was having my hair done, my little helper was busy creating her own “clients” with clips, bowls and brushes.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that they’re the same thing.

Grey coverage aims to completely cover the grey.

Grey blending uses highlights, lowlights and strategic colour placement to soften the contrast between your natural regrowth and existing colour.

The result is often a softer grow-out, less obvious regrowth and a more low-maintenance colour journey.

Neither is right or wrong it simply depends on your hair goals, maintenance preferences and how much grey you have.
