Caution use of essential oils... you don't want this to happen to you...

Lauryn Jean Bertie just told me that she was just watching the TV show "The Doctors" (America's Medical Dream Team!) and they said that if you're allergic to fragrance oils you can use essential oils undiluted on your skin because they are natural. So, I'm posting a picture of someone who had an allergic reaction after using a 5% dilution of tea tree oil. It's unfortunate that doctors almost NEVER get it right when talking about alternative medicine. Either it's highly dangerous and ineffective, or it's totally harmless. I guess there's a lot to know. By the way, tea tree oil allergic reactions are very rare. But why would you want to use undiluted essential oils on your skin anyway?

If you have to have only 2 essential oils, then you should choose Lavender and Tea Tree oil. Lavender for calming, relaxing and great for muscular aches. Tea Tree, well you know that, great anti-fungal, anti-microbial, anti-bacterial effect. Just don't buy cheap nasty ones from your local supermarkets, try good quality ones from health food shops or chemists.
