The Easter Holidays are midway and we are having a lot of fun. Grandparents visiting, Easter Egg Huntjng and lots of Ballet rehearsals, workshops and comps.
Never a dull day. But because it’s school holidays we are still fitting in lots of family time around the edges.
And weddings. Of course we are still in wedding season. Lots of autumnal sunshine from our family to yours!

10 years married! Time for a little special celebration.
Also a time for reflection and dreaming about what lies ahead on this wonderful journey.

I feel we goldilocksed this Summer.
Just the right mix of family/beach time, local travel and work.
One of the first weddings of this year was a beautiful event up the coast

Lucky I got to work alongside the gorgeous human and incredibly talented photographer who is professional in any weather and always brings her good energy.
It was the day of the extreme heatwave (remember that day?! 🥵🌡️
While the temperature was over 40degrees for most of the day, everyone stayed cool 😎🪭 and collected. It was an outdoor wedding and people just braved the heat and went on with it.
We chose to create a loose but high updo (hair down was not an option in this weather!) and it worked out beautifully.
Thanks to heatproof makeup and setting spray and powder everything stayed put.
Now that school is back on it feels like the year has fully started for me, 2026 here we come!
I can already feel it’s going to be a poweful one.

2016!
It was a year in many new beginnings!
We got married. What fun! Planning our DIY wedding , celebrating with all our loved ones, a snorkeling honeymoon in a a little fishing village in Bali and some relaxation time in a Bamboo retreat in Ubud…
I got many great work projects and opportunities.
Working with on their Summer Campaign on The Sunshine Coast was another highlight. Only that I was in my first trimester and incredibly nauseous. I had morning sickness that lasted all day and was incredibly tired. I remember worrying about the quality of my work and what people onset would think as I was just constantly having to sit down or chew on a cracker. It was early days so I don’t feel like telling everyone on set that I also just met. I turned down many other amazing opportunities that year.
Also Hello May was pumping out amazing editorials all the time and we got to be so creative on these incredible shoots.
Strange to look back 10years and how much has changed. Mostly the transition into Motherhood, which forever changed everything.

In our house we celebrate Christmas Eve 🎄🎄🎄
Just the four of us, music, candles, yummy food and gifts! We went to the beach for a swim twice today, laughed, sang, prepared food and just embraced the usual silliness. 🎁🍫🍒
Extra grateful Dalston celebrated with us, all prim and proper with bow tie and fresh hair do 🐾🐾🐾. (He had a bit of a health scare lately and is officially a senior dog now, so he getting all the pampering and holistic care)

Our home, our playground, our community.
A place that brings people together from all walks of life, from all over the world. A safe place.
The last week we have spend in a shock, unable to find to find words.
Giving hugs, giving flowers, giving love, giving strength, grieving and letting the emotions ebb and flow.
Looking out for the helpers.
Bringing light into the darkness.
Watching people show up and unite, witnessing acts of kindness, bravery and compassion. Showing what this place really is all about.
Letting the ocean wash over us, bringing peace.
Praying for peace. Always.
Sending all the love to everyone hurting, grieving and being affected in this beautiful part of the world.
Sending love to the Jewish community and holding you all close in our hearts.

Last Sunday on a beautiful sunny Sunday that we spend down at the beach like almost all Sundays, we just went home to shower and where back on our way to meet friends, celebrate and watch lights back in Bondi. We heard sirens, my phone rang and my friend frantically told us not to come. All the words I heard didn’t make sense. It couldn’t be true. In the short time we went home to take a shower everything had changed. I felt nauseous and dizzy.
A week later the very place is covered in flowers, cards, stuffed animals. We are all standing together. Showing up. All week I have been hearing peoples stories, their relationships to people who are still fighting for their lives in hospitals, people who ran for their lives and the ones who have lost their loved ones. Who have lost children, Matilda Bea 🐝. Who got hurt in a sunny Sunday celebrating.
We all need more love and less hate. It’s a small world.
I remind myself to always look out for the helpers, the brave ones.
I remind myself to bring light. Life is short. Sometimes too short.

I loved working with such a wonderful team on this very special day. There was magic all around! Once I packed up my kit I wandered down to the beach and saw a pod of 🐬🐬🐬 showing off and playing close to the shore.
What a day!
Sarah was after a natural radiant makeup look with a vintage cat eye and a few fluttery individual eyelashes. I loved her style and her ideas, it all came together so beautifully.
Also, she got married at my favourite beach.
