So much of the pain of PMDD is not knowing which thoughts to believe. Is this real, or is this the phase? When you can’t tell, you take every catastrophic story as truth, and it runs your life.

The moment you can name it, “that’s my Luteal Self talking, not the whole of me,” you get a sliver of distance. And in that sliver is where the choice comes back. You stop being swept along and start being able to respond.

Naming it is the first step. Learning to work with it is the rest.

Comment CYCLE and I’ll tell you how we do this together, one on one.

By the time most women learn what PMDD actually is, they’ve already lost friendships, strained their marriage, and convinced themselves they’re the problem. Nobody hands you the map early. You get it after the damage, if you get it at all.

I don’t think that’s good enough. You shouldn’t have to hit rock bottom before someone explains that this has a name, a rhythm, and a way through.

Consider this the thing nobody gave you sooner.

Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you the Monthly PMDD Support Guide, so you can get ahead of it instead of cleaning up after it.

Too many women spend years being told it’s anxiety, or depression, or just stress, before anyone says the word PMDD. In that gap you start to believe the problem is you, because that’s what being dismissed over and over teaches you.

I’m not here to tell you to distrust your doctors. Good medical care matters, and for a lot of women it’s essential. What I am saying is that you’re allowed to walk in informed, ask sharper questions, and refuse to leave until you’re actually heard.

Being prepared changes the whole conversation.

Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you the Monthly PMDD Support Guide, so you go in with your pattern in hand.

You know the feeling I mean. The words are coming out of your mouth and part of you is standing off to the side, horrified, unable to stop it. Then it passes and the shame arrives, and you're left apologising for someone you barely recognise.

That splitting isn't a sign you're a bad person. It's what happens when your nervous system is overwhelmed and running on old survival wiring. And the distance between those two selves can be closed. Not by trying harder in the moment, but by understanding what's happening before the moment arrives.

This is the heart of what I do with clients.

Comment CYCLE and I'll show you how we'd work on this together, one on one.

Every month she lost a week to someone she didn't recognise. Swipe for what changed it.

The biggest shift wasn't something I added. It was what I stopped doing. I stopped scheduling hard conversations in my luteal week. I stopped believing every catastrophic thought the phase handed me. I stopped apologising for needing more space at certain points in my cycle and started just taking it.

The people I love didn't need a fixed version of me. They needed a version of me who understood her own timing and stopped setting us both up to fail.

That kind of change doesn't come from willpower. It comes from actually knowing your cycle.

Most of what I found in the beginning was either “have you tried yoga” or a wall of clinical language that made me feel more broken, not less. Nothing spoke to what it actually feels like to lose a week of yourself every single month and not know why.

I wanted someone to tell me the truth plainly. That it’s real. That it has a rhythm. That there are things you can do that aren’t just “push through and be grateful.”

So I made the thing I needed back then.

Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you the Monthly PMDD Support Guide, built from the patterns of over a thousand women who’ve lived exactly this.

I remember sitting in that chair with everything I’d been carrying and somehow saying almost none of it. I minimised. I said “it’s probably just bad PMS.” I let the appointment end without the thing I actually needed to say.

If I could go back, I’d walk in with it written down. The days it hits. What it does to my relationships, my work, my head. Not a vague “I don’t feel great,” but the real, specific pattern, so it couldn’t be waved away.

You deserve to be taken seriously the first time, not the fifth.

Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you the Monthly PMDD Support Guide. It has a symptom tracker and a cycle map, so you can walk into that room with proof instead of apologising for taking up space.

There is a specific kind of grief in watching yourself blow up your own life and knowing, even as it happens, that this isn’t you. You send the message. You hand in the resignation. You tell someone you’re done. And a week later the fog lifts and you’re standing in the wreckage of decisions a different version of you made.

For a long time I thought that meant I couldn’t trust myself. What I understand now is that the luteal phase isn’t the real you going rogue. It’s a nervous system that’s stopped feeling safe, making choices from inside that panic.

You are not too much. You are not unstable. You are dealing with something that has a pattern, and patterns can be worked with.

Comment GUIDE and I’ll send you the Monthly PMDD Support Guide, so you can start seeing your pattern before it gets to the wreckage stage.
