Skin facts ☝🏻
Sweating
On a hot day, the average human being will sweat 2-3 gallons of water. No wonder that we’re advised to drink a lot of water. 💦

The skin of your lips 👄

The skin on your lips is around 200 times more sensitive, than the skin on the end of your fingers. That’s why kissing feels so good. 😘👌🏻

👌🏻While you may think the largest organ in the human body is the liver or heart, it is in fact the skin. As well as being the largest, it is also the body’s only external organ, meaning it functions as a unique barrier to protect your internal organs from damage and attack. In fact, on the average adult, the skin accounts for roughly 16% of our body weight, covers a total surface area of around two square metres, and contains more than 17 kilometres of blood vessels.

Dairy🥛
Dairy is a common skin trigger for a few reasons:
❌Reason #1: It’s a pro-inflammatory food.
Pro-inflammatory foods can aggravate or worsen existing inflammatory skin conditions, such as acne, rashes, and eczema.
❌Reason #2: Growth hormones and antibiotics are found in conventional dairy products.
These hormones may interfere with your body’s natural hormonal balance. In particular, excess estrogen (the female growth hormone) in your system is suspected to contribute to hormonal cystic acne— however, there’s a lack of research to confirm the link between acne and estrogen dominance.
❌Reason #3: Dairy is a common food sensitivity.
It’s estimated that 75% of the world population and 25% of the US population is intolerant to lactose, the sugar found in dairy— and most aren’t aware they’re sensitive.
Repeatedly eating a food you can’t digest weakens your gut health and can lead to digestive conditions, such as leaky gut syndrome. Food allergies and sensitivities also trigger an inflammatory response and cause inflammation throughout your entire body. As you may have guessed, when your body experiences inflammation, it can trigger inflammatory skin condition flare-ups, such as acne and eczema.
And hey, it’s worth noting some forms of alternative medicine view dairy as a “clogging” food that congests the skin and liver.
🔄What to Replace it With (And Why it’s Good For Your Skin)
Replace dairy with unsweetened nut milk, such as coconut milk, almond milk, and cashew milk. These alternatives are hormone, antibiotic and lactose-free, and have less of a negative impact on your liver and digestion.

Foods That Are Bad For Your Skin (And What to Eat Instead)
🍰Refined Carbohydrates
Why They’re Bad For Your Skin
If your skin has one nemesis, it’s refined carbohydrates. “Refined carbs” refers to processed sugar and processed flour, which break down into sugar.
❌Reason #1: Refined Carbs Deplete Your Healthy Gut BacteriaAside from being toxic to your body and contributing to digestive conditions, refined carbs also have poor nutritional value. But they do feed something: the bad bacteria in your gut. Yes, sugar acts as a food for bad bacteria, which gives it a chance to feast, flourish, and crowd out the good bacteria. An overgrowth of bad bacteria is linked to digestive conditions, such as candida (yeast overgrowth, which lists acne and skin rashes as most common symptoms).
Since acne is a bacterial condition, it makes sense that breakouts are linked to having an imbalance of the “wrong” kind of bacteria in your system. This is why many skin supportive regimens begin with replenishing healthy gut bacteria by eating probiotic foods such as sauerkraut and taking a probiotic supplement👇🏻.

ARE FACE MISTS NECESSARY? HOW TO USE THEM AND WHY YOU NEED ONE.
here are a lot of various products for face and body skin care. One of them is a mist. What does this odd word mean? How to use such a product?
Mist is a spray that forms some kind of mist in the air when used. Nowadays mists are going viral among those who take care of their skin. There are sprays for both face and body.
Why do you need a mist?
Depending on the composition and intended purpose, mists can perform several functions:
* eliminate inflammations and redness;
* refresh the skin and improve its colour;
* return skin elasticity;
* moisturize;
* relieve tightness and discomfort;
* help to get rid of oily shine;
* replace mattifying products;
* fix makeup.

7 Bad Habits That Will Damage Your Skin
❌Picking Pimples
Popping and squeezing a zit might make your pimple scars even worse and spread breakouts. Some of them even do it themselves and they don’t even know that they’re doing it in a wrong way. Seek the help of a professional or a beauty therapist or use an anti-blemish product that contains anti-inflammatories to soothe your skin.
❌Going Outside Without Sunscreen
Some of us are guilty for not applying sun cream because it’s sticky. In fact, going out without any sunscreen is just like building your house without roof. UV rays will shine directly into your skin and accelerate your skin aging process. Sun is the major source of aging skin so opt for a moisturizer with SPF protection. SPF15 and SPF30 will be good enough, and the more frequent you apply sun cream, the more protection you get.
❌Make-Up Mayhem
We clearly understand how tired we are after parties or gathering until late night and sometimes we might snooze off with make-up on. But you really shouldn’t. Dusts, dead skin cells and oil are all accumulated on your skin all day long and it can lead to bacterial infections, clogged pores which can cause acne. If you’re too lazy to wash your face, get some cleansing wipes or put a bottle deep cleansing oil next to your bed.
❌Chugging Too Much Alcohol
We’re not discouraging you from having an after-work session with your girlfriends, but dermatologists believe that having a second glass of cocktail is enough to make you age quickly.
❌Using the Wrong Skincare Products
A lot of people find it hard to accept their skin type. Find out just what your skin type is and use the right products. Opt for oil control products if you suffer from a lot of zits, or a hydrating lotion if you have very dry skin.
Using Dirty Makeup Brushes
Your makeup brushes should always be cleaned thoroughly. If doing it on a daily basis seems way too tedious for you, at least clean it once a week. This is especially important for your foundation and blush brushes.
❌Sleeping Late
Sleep depravation will trigger all sort of skin condition and on top of tired under eyes, you’ll also suffer worst ones like acne and eczema.
