We’re back—with a beautiful milestone to share.
After announcing a pause in 2024, we’ve quietly continued the work behind the scenes.
You may have seen some of our Miss Sahara ambassadors staying active—delivering workshops, leading community conversations, and representing through our charity, Lead Beyond Education.
Today, we’re proud to announce that Miss Sahara, a Lead Beyond Education initiative, has been nominated for the 2025 ZEST Awards for Outstanding Project – CALD Communities.
This recognition honours five years of impact—from empowering young African women to creating space for representation, community pride, and sisterhood across Australia.
It also celebrates the incredible volunteers, past winners, and supporters who have shared this journey with us.
To our queens and community, thank you. Let’s share it together.yuol
