Our nutrients both compete and also enhance utilisation of one another. If your iron deficient & been prescribed an iron supplement, try taking it with fresh lemon (rich in ) squeezed in water for enhanced absorption. Also remember to take it away from coffee & tea as this can inhibit absorption of iron.
