As a lash artist I feel I have to post this 🙃

And I have done so before!

There are now so many DIY lashes that this needs to be a topic because I don’t think anyone other businesses are really lash techs as well that care about the health of your lashes. 🤍

When segments are stuck to MULTIPLE lashes at a time your lashes arn’t able to grow INDIVIDUALLY. That means wearing them longer than a few days is actually DAMAGING your lashes. ❌

3-5 days max would be suggested for DIY lashes. Sure they may stay on longer than that but that doesn’t mean they should! My younger lash clients come in at 14 days for a lash fill and some of their lashes have grown 5mm+ - if they were wearing DIY lashes then these lashes wouldn’t be able to grow as the ones next to them might not grow as fast (yes lashes grow at diff rates!). Some clients come in at 3 weeks and have very slow growth. Everyone is different!!

But definitely take breaks, use the serum to break down the glue before removing…or take them off in a hot shower WITHOUT PULLING 🚫
