Hey Everyone.
Unfortunately, I think my post today may have come across differently to how I intended. It wasn't a request for help or support, more a reflection on what's happened and a reminder to myself that a lot of the things we spend our lives chasing don't really matter in the end. I'm trying to strip things back and keep life a bit more raw and real.
I actually ended up deleting the post because I felt it was being interpreted a bit like a GoFundMe, which was never my intention.
Thanks to those who reached out. Your generosity is overwhelming. ❤️
Hi ladies 💛
Just a little update — my working days are now Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
I’m still taking things slowly while recovering, so appointments are limited and more one-on-one where possible.
If you’d like to make an appointment with me, please text me directly or call the salon.
And to those who may have found another stylist during my time away, I completely understand and truly appreciate all the support and loyalty you’ve shown me over the years. Wishing you all the very best always. 🤍
Thank you again for all your kindness, patience and love throughout this chapter of my life. It has meant more than words can say.
Love,
Cathy x

Hello my beautiful ladies 🤍
I just wanted to let you all know… I think chemo is finally done 🙏
I’ve made the decision to ease myself back into the salon — I’ll be in Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays, strictly by appointment only.
But we’re doing things a little differently… we’re taking it right back to our roots.
It’s going to be one-on-one, just you and me (and karla), no rushing, no being passed around — just proper time, proper care, the way it always should’ve been.
Because if this journey has taught me anything, it’s this… family is everything. And you ladies are a part of mine 🤍
I know you’ll all say “take care of yourself” — and I am. But a big part of that is getting back to what I love, seeing your faces, having a purpose again. You honestly take care of me more than you realise.
I’m in tomorrow and I only have a couple of spots left — first in, best dressed. But truly, I’ll just be so happy to see any of you.
Can’t wait to have you in my chair again 🤍

This is my chemo partner today… Ebony, my 13-year-old 💔✨
Pretty confronting for her to be in this environment, seeing it all firsthand. But also… a real-life reminder that there’s so much more to life than TikTok and 10-step skincare routines.
And you know what? She’s taken it in her stride. Watching, learning… and even saying, “Mum, you’re actually doing okay compared to a lot of people here.”
Perspective hits different in places like this.
Proud of this girl 🤍

Chemo day… round whatever-we’re-up-to-now 💉
Brent Letord decided to make an appearance in the Shire today… loud and proud in his Bulldogs top 🙄🐶
Just in case anyone in chemo missed it — yes, the Bulldogs beat Penrith. Apparently that needed to be announced 😂
Typical Brent.
But in all seriousness… I’m really glad he’s here today.
Seeing it. Feeling it. Understanding what these days actually look like.
This could be my second last chemo, and I can’t even explain how good that feels.
It’s been hard. Like, really hard. But we’re getting there.
And today… I’ve got my own big, loud, slightly annoying… but solid as anything support beside me 💙
My fat Bulldogs support 😜

Big chemo day today. Four hours.
Just keeping it real… this one’s a big one.
It makes you wonder how much more the body can take.
One foot in front of the other—that’s where I’m at.
Yeah, I’m strong. I know that. 💪
But this… this is heavy.
I’m pulling on every bit of strength and mind power I’ve got—but I’d be lying if I said it was easy.
I’m not whinging… I’m just being honest.
This is probably one of the biggest things I’ve ever done.
And if I’m being real—the port hanging out of my neck? Yeah… not my favourite thing, grosses me out.😛
I try to stay positive.
But today, I’m just calling it what it is.
Keeping it real… this is s**t!!!!
But I'm not done yet.
I’ll keep showing up, no matter what. 💗
Hi my beautiful clients 💛
I just wanted to give you a little update — I’ve now finished round two of chemo, and I’ve only got one more to go 🙏
If all goes to plan, I’m hoping to be back in the salon in around 3–4 weeks.
Thank you so much for your patience, your loyalty, and all the love you’ve shown me during this time — it truly means the world.
I can’t wait to be back behind the chair, doing what I love and having those big chats with you all again ✨
Love, Cathy x

Keeping It Real👍
Chemo day today.
Not exactly my favourite weekly appointment, but it’s one step closer to getting through this whole cancer saga.
Some days I feel strong, some days I feel like absolute rubbish…
but it won’t take my spirit, my humour, or the hairdresser in me.✂️
And trust me — when I’m back behind the salon chair, I’ll appreciate every haircut, every conversation, and every laugh even more than before.
Thank you to everyone who has checked in on me, sent messages, prayers and love.
You may not realise it, but it carries me through the hard days.
Still fighting.💪
Still hopeful. 🙏
Still Cathy. 💛 💋

Weekly chemo update 💛
Well… this is the new look for now.
Trying my best to rock the turban life.
No hair.
No lashes.
But thank God the eyebrows understood the assignment 😅
Had chemo again this morning and no toxic reaction to the meds this time (touch wood 🤞), so that’s a big win for the week.
Still taking it day by day, but feeling a little stronger and hoping I’ll be up and about again very soon.
And remember…
Hair grows back… attitude stays. 😏✂️💛
LET IT GO!!
Not because I wanted to.
Not because I was ready.
But because sometimes strength doesn’t look glamorous… it looks like clumps of hair in your hands and a decision to take back control.
I won’t lie — it’s been confronting. Emotional. Raw.
But I refuse to let cancer decide how I show up in this world.
Hair or no hair… I am still me.
Still a mum.
Still a partner.
Still a business owner.
Still a woman.
Still strong.
This is just a chapter. Not the whole story.
And if you’re going through something hard right now — whatever it is — you’re allowed to grieve it… and still be brave at the same time.
We’ve got this. 💪🏼🤍
