It’s been on the to do list for far too long and you know what WD-40 was beyond easy to find at the hardware shop so happy Friday everyone!

Now to do my hair ready for a day of upstyling!

Colour correction 🤎

We started with unwanted warmth, banding and murky green ends that were leaving the hair feeling dull and uneven.

I foiled throughout to break everything up and create dimension while filling and colouring in between to create a more even base.

The goal was shiny, healthy, even hair while still keeping plenty of dimension and I think we nailed it 🤎

When opening Taylah Rose Hair, I didn’t know what to expect. I definitely didn’t expect to be sitting here just over 12 months later with a salon that’s full and at capacity. 🥹

This little dream just keeps evolving and every risk, every scary decision and every leap of faith has been worth it.

Being able to create a beautiful space for the girls who work for me and alongside me, while looking after the most incredible clients, is something I’ll never take for granted. Our clients, our community and the people who continue to support Taylah Rose Hair are the reason this dream keeps becoming bigger than I ever imagined.

Growth never stops. Neither does learning, evolving and filling your own cup.

And right now, my cup feels like it’s overflowing. 🤍

What goes into the bowl matters just as much as what goes onto the hair 🤍

For this client I’m mixing her on-scalp lightener with 10 vol + Olaplex.

She’s naturally a fine-haired level 7 and lifts beautifully within around 45 minutes so there’s simply no need for me to push her hair with a stronger developer.

We’ve been on-scalp lightening for 12 months now and protecting the integrity of her hair is always the priority.

Low + slow, always ✨

Just because you can use stronger doesn’t mean you need to👏🏼
