Big weekend of Reno’s for us both in preparation for the move.

Krystal got the keys to the Tanunda salon, and had a big day of demolition yesterday. Today she’s got Andrew on the floor grinder bringing back the beautiful concrete floor.
It’s going to be stunning.

Yesterday I had joinery install day in my Nuri brow studio, our great mate Brad (and his amazing team) from Juncken Joinery absolutely nailing it with perfection as always, and the amazing Jake doing all the finishing building touches so I can spend my day coated in paint for something different.

We are both super thankful for the amazing tradies who have been on our team to support us through the transition - and of course Andrew and Jordan for being wonderful trade assistants to us both 🫣😂

Last wedding in our beautiful space. bringing the magic to make it big and special.

13 years ago, we opened a salon designed to share our skills & love of our work, but also configure our lives to suit a work life balance.

Then, what that balance required was very different to what it looks like now.
So it’s time to pivot.

Over the last 13 years we have had 4 children between us, two beautiful salon locations, a pandemic & a number of wonderful staff.
Our space has always reflected the manner in which we needed to work and do life.
Now, Our gorgeous salon in angaston is far to big for just us & has actually been sold!

But don’t despair!
We are still here for you!

Come mid July we will begin to operate at two separate locations, Krystal will take the hairdressing side of the business to a fabulous smaller salon in Tanunda, which will also allow our colleague Chanelle from Kreate Hair to reconfigure her hairdressing business. Texture & Hue Hair will be a dedicated hair salon with new & exciting retail as well as your much loved Redken colors.

Sarah will also relocate the brow bar to a private studio in Nuriootpa. This side of the business will continue to offer brows, lashes, event makeup & hairstyling, & bridal services.

The decision separate our business wasn’t an easy one to make. But making the best decisions for our families requirements & of course our clients needs had to come first.

We will continue to support each others businesses and clients & Rest assured we will still always offer a lovely space to relax in, amazing service with dedication to our clients & our craft.
This will always be the Texture & Hue way.

We can’t wait to share our updates & progress with you as the next stage evolves.

We are teenagers! Today we turned 13… I forgot, Krystal remembered.
We just have such a beautiful gang of clients to share our days with it barely feels like work. Thankyou to everyone who has supported us over the years. We couldn’t and wouldn’t do it wouldn’t you. 13 unlucky for some, but we have been nothing but blessed and lucky since we opened our doors! Xx
