Hi everyone.
Hope you’re all doing okay. I know that being in lockdown is hard but at least we have some good weather to look forward to and also daylight savings. Gives us a lot more opportunity to be outside enjoying the fresh air and sunshine ☀️.
I’m in the process of doing a lot of packing and sorting (as you could possibly guess). However, I still have plenty of time to mix you a take-home colour or if you would like a take-home kit (with instructions) to apply in your own time. Please let me know if either of these two options sound inviting for your own personal situation.
I am here for you if you would like to message or give me a call about either of these options.

Hi Everyone

As most of you have no doubt heard, our lockdown has been extended by another two weeks. This has unfortunately meant that I will have to close up business earlier than I anticipated or wanted to. I desperately wanted to say goodbye & thank you in person to as many people as possible....

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR ALL THE PATRONAGE, LOYALTY, FRIENDSHIPS, CONVERSATIONS & GIFTS THAT I HAVE RECEIVED OVER THE PAST NINE YEARS.
I have watched your children grow, done your hair for weddings, birthdays, christenings, confirmations, parties, etc. I have seen you laugh & cry and also laughed with you (and sometimes cried). I have truly felt like I have been a part of some of your families. I have genuinely enjoyed having you in my life & love how much you have embraced me & my family (including my adorable fur babies).

Hi all.
As most of you would know by now lockdown #6 has been extended by another week. So this means no work for me and therefore all appointments that have been made will need to be cancelled. At this stage I’m really unsure if I will be able to get back to work. We will all just have to wait and see 🤷‍♀️

But we still need to…

If anyone requires a colour or a toner for your hair then we can arrange a contact free collection.

I also have 20% off all of my retail products and candles of which we can do contact free collection.

How presumptuous I was yesterday to think I may be able to reopen.
As you have probably heard or will hear shortly is that we have gone back into lockdown.
At this stage I have no idea what I am going to do and I’m quite emotional that there will most likely be people I cannot say goodbye to prior to closing up shop.
Please know that I appreciate every single one of you and I have made some fantastic friendships that I hope to keep.
I would love to sign off with as normal but today I’m using this 😔

As we have had a 'donut day' I'm going to presume that I will be allowed to have clients in my home as of next Wednesday 11th August.

I will start messaging soon. Alternatively, you may also text or inbox with your availability. Note that your exact day/time may not be available and your precise service needs to be included. Please be as flexible as possible with your availability.

My last day of work will be Saturday 4th September.

Due to the updated regulations I am still not allowed to open. This is due to not being allowed to have people in to your own home. I’m slightly peeved but unfortunately can’t do anything about it as the fines are way too big for me to risk it.
Hopefully restrictions will change soon.

We have sold our home and I will be slowing down my hairdressing. I was hoping to do this gradually but due to the Covid restrictions this may not happen as I would like it to.

For those that cannot wait then I can completely understand. For those who would like to wait and have one last appointment, then I will do my best to make this happen.

I will be in touch with some clients who have prebooked into September.

Hi my lovelies,

As the majority of you already know, we have our home up for sale.

Once we have sold then I will be slowing down my hairdressing with the intention of stopping altogether.

Please know that I have appreciated each and every one of you and have made some fantastic friends (we will catch up for a bevvie - hot or cold).

Our intention is to downsize to a renovator. This will then be my ‘new job’ of which I will require a hard hat and blunnies (not scissors and comb).

This past 18 mths has been hard for everyone and we all hear of a lot of people making life changes…this is ours.

You have been amazing with your support of From Hair to Eternity and very understanding with all the different regulations that have been thrown at as during lockdowns and coming out of lockdowns. I will be forever grateful 😊

For the time being it will be ‘business as usual’ until we sell. I will definitely keep you all updated.

See you when I’m home from FNQ where I am fortunate enough to be missing out on lockdown #5.

Hi All.
New restrictions apply for businesses as of this Friday. However, due to the fact that my business is home based I cannot open until we are allowed to have visitors to our own home.
I am very sorry for all my clients who have been affected by this and will be offering colour collection for all current clients who would like to take advantage of this.

This depends on the type of business you run from home. For example, if you run a hairdressing business from home, you are unable to operate as your business relies on customers who cannot visit your home under the current restrictions.
