5 TYPES OF HAIR LOSS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT 🤎

Here are 5 common types worth knowing about 👇

Gradual thinning, often around the crown, part or hairline. Hair can become progressively finer over time.

Often noticed as increased shedding rather than a specific bald patch. It can occur after things like illness, significant stress, hormonal changes or rapid weight loss.

Often appears as sudden, clearly defined round or oval patches of hair loss. This is an autoimmune condition and should be medically assessed.

With 1 year in the hair industry, Kaidence is loving every minute behind the chair — and honestly, she couldn’t pick a favourite service because she loves it all! 🤎

One of the things we love most about having Kaidence at Crown is watching her learn, grow and build her confidence behind the chair. At Crown, we believe in investing in our team and creating an environment where our stylists can continue developing their skills and become the very best hairdressers they can be.

Kaidence is most excited about meeting new people, working alongside our beautiful Crown team and continuing to move forward in her hairdressing career.

When she’s not at the salon, you’ll find Kaidence spending time with her family and friends, heading away camping for the weekend or enjoying a day at the beach. 🌊☀️

And a fun little fact… Kaidence is one of 10 siblings! 😲💕
So she’s definitely no stranger to a busy room!

✨ REINTRODUCING MIKAYLA ✨

You may have already spotted this gorgeous girl around Crown, but we thought it was time to properly introduce Mikayla 🤎

Mikayla started hairdressing at just 16 and has around six years of industry experience. After taking some time to explore makeup and upstyling, (which she still very much does Friday/Saturday MIKAYLA | ADELAIDE MAKEUP ARTIST & HAIRSTYLIST )she realised just how much she missed being behind the chair especially creating beautiful colour.

Her happy place? Foiling, bright fresh blondes and a big bouncy blowout ✨

One of the things we love about Mikayla is how focused and detail-oriented she is. She takes pride in getting the little things right and creating a beautiful, considered result for every client. She’s always looking to learn, improve and give her clients her very best.

When she’s not in the salon, Mikayla loves hiking, dancing with the girls, travelling, trying new food and learning all about natural health and wellness.

She’s already become such a beautiful part of our Crown team and we’re so excited to watch her continue to grow with us.

We’re so excited to officially introduce you to the newest member of our Crown family Pat! 🤎

With 23 years in the hair industry, Pat brings an incredible amount of experience, knowledge and passion to the Crown team. She started her apprenticeship at just 18 and has been creating beautiful hair ever since.

Her favourite thing to do? A full head of foils — which she describes as therapeutic! She also loves colour corrections and pretty much anything colour-related.

But for us, welcoming someone into Crown is about more than their experience behind the chair.

It’s about finding someone who shares our values — kindness, connection, growth, education and creating an experience where every client feels genuinely cared for. 🤍

Pat is excited to bring her knowledge to Crown while also learning new skills and embracing our beautiful Crown Spa services.

And when she’s not in the salon, you’ll find her with her 9-year-old twin boys, catching up with friends, shopping… or in the kitchen making homemade pasta from scratch and Italian desserts! 🍝
