The final day…
Today was my last trading day as Freyja Wellness. I close my business to continue my education and become an Osteopath (to start) in Queensland.
I would like to thank every single person who has ever trusted me with their body. I am the massage therapist I am today because you allowed me to develop my skills whilst gently coaxing your muscles and fascia back to their home. Each injury, spasm and adhesion you presented with me helped me to understand not only how to help you, the client in front of me, but also better help the person arriving next. Thank you. I cherish the time we shared and the connection we made.

I’m back!
I know I didn’t make an announcement that I was taking some time off but here is the announcement that I am back and taking appointments again.
I had a nasty hospital stay at the end of January and for my long term health needed to take a big chunk of time off.

Hey Friends! This video will make a lot of sense for my clients. I talk about nerve bunching and compensatory patterns of muscle dysfunction regularly.
I am not a qualified chiropractor or osteopath (yet) so I DO NOT intentionally crack joints but sometimes you might feel a pop while I am manipulating the muscle fibres and fascia because of the pull they can cause on bones. Some clients disagree with joint manipulation because of the origins of chiropractic but through regulation and training requirements Chiro is no longer the quack modality it once was. Chiropractic adjustment will not alleviate your asthma or CFS symptoms but it will help with that pinch or pull you’ve been feeling. Your choices are important to me and I will not urge to to visit anyone that you don’t feel comfortable with.
Supplemental bodywork with your skeletal system is another step you can potentially take for body alignment and pain reduction.
