As of 1st October, businesses can no longer charge EFTPOS fees, which means small businesses now have to absorb this cost. As a sole trader, I’m unable to absorb this additional expense and have therefore added $1 to $3 to some of my services. However, I’m happy to offer discounts to those who choose to pay cash.
