Hair loss is super common — but why it happens can tell you a lot about what’s going on inside your body. Here’s what different patterns of hair loss often point to.

⭐ 1. Stress & Hormonal Imbalance

If your hair is shedding a lot all over (not patchy), especially after a stressful event, illness, or big life change, it’s often:

Telogen Effluvium — temporary shedding triggered by stress

⭐ 2. Nutrient Deficiencies

Hair is one of the first things affected when nutrients drop.

Common deficiencies linked to hair loss:

Iron / Ferritin (the biggest one)

Vitamin D

B12

Zinc

Protein

⭐ 3. Thyroid Issues

Both an underactive or overactive thyroid can cause hair to thin.

Signs that go with thyroid-related hair loss:

Fatigue

Weight changes

Dry skin

Feeling cold easily

⭐ 4. Genetics (Androgenic Alopecia)

This appears as:

Thinning on the top/crown

A widening part

Hair becoming finer over time

⭐ 5. Autoimmune Conditions

Patchy, round bald spots = Alopecia Areata.

It can be triggered by:

Stress

Autoimmune tendencies

Illness

⭐ 6. Inflammation or Scalp Issues

Redness, itching, flakes, or soreness often mean:

Seborrheic dermatitis

Psoriasis

Folliculitis

Product buildup

Type's of hair ties to use.....

For everyday / casual wear: Fabric scrunchies (silk, cotton, satin) are great.

For working out: Spiral (telephone cord) ties are often used because they grip well without pulling too harshly.

For sleeping: Silk scrunchies are ideal because they’re smooth and don’t crease or damage hair overnight.

For thick or textured hair: Look for strong, seamless elastics / no-metal bands.

Hair Ties to T

vgently. Don’t yank ties out — especially coiled ones, unloop slowly.

When you’re looking after blonde hair at home .

Daily / Weekly Care

Wash your hair with a good blonde-safe shampoo . Focus on the scalp and hair strands; rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Condition or mask: For colour-treated blonde's especially, use a rich mask 1-2 times a week (or at least weekly) to deeply nourish and rebuild. Use the mask after shampooing on towel-dried hair, leave for 3-5 mins, then rinse.

Avoid over-washing: Blonde hair can dry out; try using shampoo only ~2–3 times/week if possible, and use dry shampoo or refreshers in between.

Minimise heat/chemical damage: Use heat protectants, lower heat settings, and limit time in sun/pool/saltwater.

Naturally blonde hair is actually quite rare — only about 2% of the world’s population has it naturally. originated thousands of years ago in Northern Europe, likely as an evolutionary response to lower sunlight (helping the body absorb more vitamins
