I am back from my European trip and although I posted before I went and told most clients, there may still be a few of you that missed it so I wanted to pin this.

I haven’t been truthful with myself on how declining my health has been in the past few years due to my autoimmune disease. I didn’t want to accept the reality, so I’ve been trying to push through every flare, and this has only made my condition worse and caused long term damage to my joints. Unfortunately this has made it impossible to continue hairdressing for the foreseeable future.

I do hope some day I can pick back up what I love the most, but at this time I can’t see myself being well enough to go back to how physically demanding hairdressing is. This will be a new navigation for me while I take this time to rest and to give myself the best chance to get my disease under control.

You are all much more important to me than just clients and running a business and this is not a decision I have made at all lightly and I know you all know that.

From the deepest depths of my heart, I thank all of you for supporting me throughout a number of salons over the past 12 years, and then supporting me throughout the launch of my very own busy little business The Blonde Ambition. I had no idea the kind of success it would be and it will always be the upmost pleasure of my life having cared for you all and now it’s time to try and take care of me.

I’ve been doing this Grecian goddess’ hair for almost 8 years now and this ONE time (go back a few grids) we got the most PERFECT lighting for photos in the garden. The blonde was just popping and bright, it was the perfect sweet spot a but everytime since then we’ve been disappointed because it will never be as good as that lighting that day 😂 iykyk

But if this is our bad lighting.. we’re doing alright G!

As some of you may have noticed, all of our retail brands have had a number of price increases in the past year. I have updated our shelf products but I have absorbed most of the increase personally as to not have to increase too drastically. However, whilst still being mindful of that I do have to increase my prices in 2024 along with my retailers as to continue to provide the best service I can and continue the beautiful blonde ambition. Ohhhhh! How much fun and I had doing this big chop, this was a half head of foils and a gentle tip out. Emma’s hair is in beautiful condition so we only had to use a really gentle lightener on those ends and it came up so beautifully bright and makes ALL the difference.

Emma is super light naturally also so we wanted to add some dimension to her roots so we did some gorgeous fine lowlights in there too and a mini root stretch to really give her some depth and dimension and make those ends POP! And pop they did!
