Rupertswood/Townsville Area My service is very flexible. I can normally tan any time of the day including evening or late nights and early mornings.
Please contact me to check availability. The main active ingredient in TECHNO TAN’S Solution is di-hydroxyacetone (DHA) which is a colourless sugar that interacts with dead cells in the outer layers of the skin. As the sugar interacts, a colour change occurs in the skin normally lasting 5-7 days. Our tanning solutions are made in Australia using the highest grade DHA available and are infused wi
th aloe Vera and green tea extract, both amazing nutrients for the skin. Your body exfoliates naturally, which means your tan will fade like a normal tan. As each person’s skin is unique length of tan will vary between 5-7 days with correct maintenance. To remove the rest of the tan simply exfoliate and you'll be ready again for a new tanning session. When preparing for your tan it is strongly advised to shower and exfoliate your skin prior to any tanning session. Ensure your skin is free of any moisturisers, deodorants, perfumes, oils, lotions or products that create a ‘barrier’ around the skin leading to inconsistent tanning results. What you wear to a tan is up to the individual and depends on the desired tanning results. I do provide a disposable G String for clients however it is advised to wear loose fitting clothing for after your tanning session as the full process of the tan will take between 2 and 8 hours depending on your choice of tan and tight clothing may affect the final result of your Spray Tan. After you have had your tan you should not have a shower, as the tan solution interacts with your dead skin cells, colour change will continue anywhere up to 8 hours even with our latest 2 Hour Tan products. To give your tan enough time to fully develop, we recommended waiting a minimum of 8 hours. Please note that showering too soon can decrease the depth of your tan. The myth of not being able to have a shower is just that a myth! The DHA in the Tanning Solution is what produces a tan in your skin. The DHA is not permanent, so it will fade just like a natural suntan would. Your tan - if maintained - will normally last 5-7 days.. If you need to go swimming, we suggest limiting time in the water and thoroughly rinsing yourself in fresh water afterwards. Swimming Pools and salt water will certainly prematurley fade your tan and could also cause undesirable effects such as streaking.
