It was only 2 weeks gosh (next one might be for longer)

THE DATE THEY GAVE ME WAS WRONG 😑

Right so the date is NOT 3rd June but 17th June that I will be going in for my surgery. All appointments from 17th June will be cancelled for two weeks not 3rd June.

If I have just cancelled your appointment from 3rd June PLEASE DISREGARD IT. I WILL BOOK YOU BACK IN.

I swear though if I get another phone call from the hospital with another date change I am going to LOSE MY MIND ❗️

I have just literally messaged 57 of you and now I feel terrible because I feel like I’ve put you all out and given you all a mini heart attack.

So again, I will message you all individually and rebook your appointments back in to where they were originally.
Please give me a little bit of time to do this as this is going to take me a little while

Okey-dokey, this is going to be an upsetting post for most of you to read, so please don’t scream at the phone. It is out of my control 😬

So yesterday I had my doctor call me with my surgery date (which I wasn’t expecting for another 6 to 12 months which is why most of you reading this will have no idea of what surgery I am talking about) and I go in for surgery on 3 June which is only two days after I get back from my two week holiday …

Now here is the part where you’re all going to absolutely hate me 🤦🏼‍♀️ they have recommended I have at least 6 to 8 weeks off due to the nature of my surgery 😬

❗️BUT ❗️

Being as I may not physically or financially be able to have that much time off due to the high amount of inevitable bills that will come across my desk, I will be taking things week by week and seeing how I handle pain threshold and comfort etc.

That being said I will have to cancel a minimum of two weeks worth of my already booked in clients from 3 June.
I will message everybody individually that I have to cancel but I feel two weeks minimum will be a must (if for any reason if I handle the surgery gloriously with minimal pain with my recovery) I may amend this … but I feel two weeks is probably going to be a definite minimum for cancellations at this stage.

I do apologise for the inconvenience of everybody having to be cancelled with little notice but I found out this information yesterday so I am doing this as soon as I possibly can so everybody can organise seeing somebody else in the interim and book ahead accordingly.

If I get any more updates, I will let everybody know.

So for once, I actually woke up on time today. Did not end up sleeping past my alarm and somehow I have already organised the children, walked them to the bus stop, and found myself with an extra hour…

What else is there to do, other than make a tiramisu?
