Feather Perfection was born in 2017. Amanda is the sole owner and operator and absolutely loves transforming faces and saving time with permanent makeup. Offering eyebrow, eyeliner, lip and 3D Ar**la tattooing as well as brow and lash maintenance services. Even the smallest change can boost someone’s confidence tenfold. You deserve it! Over-plucked, over-waxed or just not blessed with perfect brows? Microblading may be the answer to your prayers. Microblading is a form of tattooing. It is a semi-permanent makeup using a hand tool to precisely implant pigment into the skin using “feather” hair like strokes. It is designed to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair, to create definition and give you those brows you have been longing for. Do you spend a good portion of your morning penciling in your brows? My combination technique could be your savior. The combination technique involves the process of, first, microblading to give the natural hair stroke look. The second step is to use the digital tattoo machine to shade in the eyebrows, darkest at the end tip and gradually going lighter to the front. This gives you that gorgeous ombre, powder look. Imagine being able to walk straight out the door! Eyebrows are one of the main defining points on a person’s face and it’s not all one size fits all. Everyone’s face shape, brow shape, skin tone, skin texture, hair colour and hair growth pattern are different. During the consultation, together, we will discuss your expectations and what’s going to suit you to give you the most perfect eyebrows. Your initial procedure cost includes a 6-8 week perfection visit to make sure you are 110% happy with your new eyebrows. I use a pigment which is one of the best in the industry. Not only are these pigments safe and sterile but they stay true to their colour and I have a shade to suit everyone. How long the pigment lasts will depend on your skin type, skincare routine, lifestyle and tattooed colour. Topical anaesthetic is used before the procedure commences to keep your comfort level at its maximum. This can be applied during the procedure as well should you feel any discomfort. Please research your technicians before going through with the procedure. Like any skin pe*******on procedure, these can spread blood-borne diseases. It is a Queensland requirement that any business carrying out a skin pe*******on procedure be registered and licensed with the local council. CRUSTING - The darkness you see in the days following your appointment is excess colour sitting on the top of your skin that has dried with lymph and oils.. this will come away
FLAKING - The "excess" coming away
GHOSTING - The phase where you feel like you've wasted your money đź’° You get so used to the darkness that as the excess come away you feel like you have 0 colour. I have implanted into the bottom layer, so as your skin regenerates, the colour lifts back to the surface.
On average, skin takes 28 days to regenerate. More for mature skin, smokers and certain health issues.
Every client is different. Some will retain more than others after the initial session. Most clients come to me nervous at their first session so I like to stay conservative. I'd prefer for you to come back and say they are too light, rather than too dark. It's easier to add than take away... This is why we have the perfection visit!

✨ A NEW CHAPTER FOR COSMETIC CODE ✨
After a lot of thought, reflection and some big changes personally and professionally, I’ve made the decision to bring Cosmetic Code Clinic back home. 🤍
Surprise, I'vealready moved! Cosmetic Code has transitioned back into a private, home-based studio.. and honestly, it feels like the right decision for me and for the direction I want to take the business.
The last couple of years have brought a lot of change. I’ve had time away, faced some challenges, taken time to focus on my health, and returned to a beauty industry that looks very different from when I first started.
Through all of that, one thing has remained the same.. my love for what I do and the incredible clients who have continued to support me.
So rather than trying to be everything to everyone, I’m choosing to simplify, focus on the treatments I’m most passionate about, and create a more intimate experience for the clients who choose Cosmetic Code.
The new (pre-loved) studio will continue to offer the same high level of care, attention to detail and quality you’ve always expected from me, just in a more personal setting.
I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported Cosmetic Code over the years, whether you’ve been with me since day one, have recently found me, or have simply followed along.
This isn’t the end of Cosmetic Code.
It’s a new chapter. 🖤

This would have to be one of my favourite treatments. A little subtle eyeliner without the full commitment but look at her eyes pop!! Slight swelling and redness which is to be expected and will go down in a day or two.
