As some of you already know, I've gone full time into a new career venture and sadly it's time to permanently close the salon doors!

Thanks so much to everyone that has supported my little business over the years. It's been a pleasure to look after you all. I will miss you all so much. 💞

Im afraid my little salon will be closing for the foreseeable future.

I can't describe the hurt and anger I've felt over these past couple of weeks.
So much confusion on what the right thing is to do.
Between feeling nervous about the risk of spread of covid and the worry of how we will support our family over these next few months it's been a whirlwind of emotions. It's just not worth the risk.
I suppose I have to be grateful I don't have staff in a time like this. Much love to everyone in this difficult time.

Sadly today will be my last day of creating beautiful hair colour for a little while.

I am going to open up most of the day with extra apps. Give me a text on 0415675316 if you want to get in today for your last colour and cut for a while.

However I am still allowed to have clients for a haircut, 30 min apps. I do not understand how that is still classed as safe because it still requires close contact.

I get this government has it's hands tied but why all of this confusion is necessary I do not understand.

For those who have already cancelled this week I completely understand your concern.

I've had a few clients message to ask if I am still open.
Yes it's all systems go here in the salon, however I will be putting a couple of new measures in place as recommended by infectious control guidelines.

1. Please do not come if you are sick, text or call ahead and we can arrange another appointment when you are feeling better
2. All clients will need to wash their hands upon arrival.
3. I will be leaving the salon door open and the fan on high to minimise the possibility of transmission.

All stations will be wiped down with anti bacterial spray after each client and all tools sterilized as I usually practice at all times.

Hi guys,
I've had a couple of missed messages in regards to appointments from clients with iPhones I'm sorry.
I've changed to a samsung phone this week and I've just realised I haven't been receiving messages because I hadn't deactivated my icloud messages.
It might stilk take a few days to change over so please if you can get in touch via Facebook if you have an iPhone in the mean time.

This is something you will all hear me talk about when the trash mag conversation comes up in the salon. I don’t read them and I do not care for the bu****it that’s printed in them. I despise buying them and I only do so, because I know some people like to read them. As of today I won’t be investing in trash mags any more. There’s a lot better ways to pass your time in a hair salon!
Better homes and gardens will always be a staple mag at mine, also hair mags and from now on anything educational I can get my hands on.
