Never felt the need to do a post about a Clipper before. I’ve used most of the best and dearest clippers on the market. I’ve tried a lot of budget clippers too. But the Kemei KM-1858 has blown me away. Super cheap (around $57 !!! 🤯). Super powerful. Very quiet. Full metal jacket. Good range on the blade throw. Comes with DLC Fade blades with good depth as standard. Managed to zero gap them despite seeing a review saying they can’t be. Has a 5 click lever that’s quite good (though not great). 9000 rpm variable speeds (personally, i like to debulk on high, but slow it down when fading) LCD displayed speed control , long run time, like 300 minutes at lowest RPM, usb c charge and a light 💡 built in to shine onto the cutting area. This is a great feature for a mobile hairdresser that may be in poor lighting conditions from time to time. Comes with a modern guard numbering system that takes a bit of getting used too. 1-10 with 1 replacing a wahl 1/2 guard, 2 is a 1 guard, 3 is a 1 1/2, 4 is a 2 etc. But the guards seem solid and well made. Anyway. Excuse the gush, but its not often one gets such a bloody good professional machine for such tiny dollars So i just had to sing about it..
