Introducing Ben – Pharmacist Manager

Say hello to Ben, our Pharmacist Manager who has been part of the Aitkenvale Pharmacy team for the past 18 months and has over 20 years of experience in pharmacy management.

Ben is passionate about providing great care to our community and believes pharmacy is about much more than just medicines — it’s about building relationships, listening, and taking the time to understand each person’s needs.

What Ben enjoys most about pharmacy is simple: the people. He loves working alongside his amazing team and getting to know the wonderful customers who visit our pharmacy. Whether it’s helping with health needs, having a chat, or finding common interests like sport and local stories, Ben believes genuine connections are what make community pharmacy special.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his family, getting outdoors, heading to the beach, following sport, fishing, and exploring new places 🌊🎣🏏

Introducing Ava – Pharmacy Assistant

Say hello to Ava, one of our bright and enthusiastic junior team members who has been working in pharmacy for 3 years and has been part of our team here for the past 18 months.

Ava is currently balancing senior school commitments while working with us on Saturdays, where she is always known for her beautiful smile and positive attitude that brightens the pharmacy.

She has a strong interest in the medical field and aspires to build a career in healthcare. In the pharmacy setting, Ava loves helping customers, offering guidance, and learning more about medications and how they work.

Ava also has a real passion and natural knowledge for fragrances & beauty and enjoys sharing her insights with customers.

Outside of work, Ava enjoys relaxing at the beach, spending time with friends and family, and focusing on her studies 🌊📚✨

Introducing Zoe – Retail Manager

Say hello to Zoe, our vibrant Retail Manager who joined our pharmacy team in 2025 and stepped into the Retail Manager role in January 2026.

Zoe oversees the front-of-shop retail operations and helps keep everything running smoothly day to day. She has a real passion for learning, customer interaction and loves being part of our friendly, supportive team that cares for our community.

Outside of work, Zoe enjoys painting, spending time with her cats, and a bit of shopping in her free time 🎨🐱🛍️
