For 16 years, I’ve watched you grow.

I’ve watched you walk through my doors with big dreams, and blonde hair, and a whole lot of ambition. I’ve watched you build a business, build friendships, celebrate birthdays, Christmas parties, milestones, successes, setbacks and everything in between.

And I’ve been there through all of it.

You always took care of me.

Over the years, you gave me facelifts, repairs, fresh coats of paint and plenty of little changes that kept me looking my best. You fixed what needed fixing, replaced what needed replacing and never let me feel forgotten.

You didn’t just work here — you invested in me.

You made me beautiful, again and again.

I’ve heard the laughter, the conversations, the music, the hairdryers and the stories that have filled these walls for nearly two decades.

I’ve watched people come in as clients and leave as friends. I’ve watched apprentices take their first steps into the industry. I’ve watched you become more confident, more experienced and more ambitious with every passing year.

And I’ve watched you outgrow me.

Not because I wasn’t loved anymore.

Quite the opposite.

You loved me enough to keep improving me for 16 years.

But now, I think it’s my turn to let you go.

There’s a bigger, newer chapter waiting for you.

So when you close my doors for the very last time, I hope you look back and remember everything we built together.

The good days.
The hard days.
The late nights.
The celebrations.
The tears.
The laughter.
The countless haircuts, colours and conversations.

I’ve been your home for 16 years.

And while I’ll miss the noise, the people and the life you brought into me, I know you’re ready.

You’ve taken very good care of me.

Now it’s time for you to take everything you’ve learned here and take it with you.

Go build something even bigger.

I’ll always be the building that watched you become who you are today.

And I’ll always be a little bit proud to say…

Today I’m proud to be celebrating 15 years since opening the doors to my city salon.

To my wonderful clients – thank you for your loyalty, your trust, and for taking a chance on me all those years ago. Many of you have been with me through every step of this journey, and your support has allowed me to grow and evolve.

To my incredible team – past and present – thank you for your dedication, creativity, and belief in what we do. You’ve each played a part in building something special.

Last year was a big milestone as we transformed from Liberte Hair into Utopia Hair C*D – a new chapter that reflects our growth and vision for the future. I’m so grateful to everyone who embraced that change and continued on this journey with us.

Fifteen years in business is no small achievement, and I’m excited for the next chapter ahead. Here’s to more transformations, growth, and shared successes.
