Hi Everyone,

It’s time for a salon update — and this one might come as a bit of a shock.

Bliss on Ambrose is now closed.

As most of you know, hairdressing has been such a huge part of my life. It’s never just been a job to me — it’s been my passion, my creative outlet, and something that’s brought me so much joy. I’ve loved every moment behind the chair, every transformation, every conversation, and every connection with all of you.

That’s why this decision has been one of the hardest I’ve ever had to make.

Unfortunately, my body can no longer handle the physical demands that come with hairdressing. I’ve been dealing with chronic pain in my neck, back, arms, and hands for a long time, and I’ll soon be undergoing multiple surgeries and procedures in hopes of improving things.

With that, I’ve had to make peace with the fact that I won’t be returning to hairdressing.

It’s such a strange feeling to say goodbye to something that has shaped so much of who I am — but I want to take a moment to say the biggest, most heartfelt thank you to every single one of you.

Thank you for trusting me with your hair, your stories, your laughs, and even your tears. Thank you for your loyalty, your support, and for helping me make my dream career so full of love and meaning. Whether you’ve been with me from the very beginning or joined me on my journey somewhere along the way, I’m so grateful for you all — you’ve each left your mark.

Looking back, it’s been an incredible 13-year journey:

4 years at Bliss on Ambrose

Almost 1 year Mobile

2 years at another salon

3 years owning Scissors Palace

Just over 1 year as a 3rd-year apprentice

6 months of work placement at Scissors Palace

18 months of TAFE

That’s 13 years of doing what I love — and it’s all because of you.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the friendships that will stay with me forever. I will miss you all more than words can say.

Rent a chair opportunity within boutique home-based salon, currently using Pure, Davines and Juuce Products.

Conveniently located close to a strip of shops this home based salon has a quiet and relaxed vibe without the hussle and bustle of the CBD.

Owner is wanting to decrease her current working hours on the salon floor, and is seeking someone to come on board and take on some clients while also being able to build their own clientele.

What you get:
- Amazing location, with parking close by

Inclusions:
- Use of up to 2 Chairs and a basin
- Towels and Wraps

Just a courtesy post to let you know that I will be updating the pricing structure.

Most hair services will be increasing slightly.
And blonding services will be having a bit of a restructure.

Im also going to be reducing my late night availability.
I do apologise that this may be an inconvenience. I do my best to accommodate but unfortunately there's only one of me 🤣

This change will allow the me to continue offering the high-quality experience, and premium products in the salon.
