I have to confess I started this Monday feeling a bit tired, I was doing lots of different things in the past few weeks trying to kick my goals.
I used to work in a multinational advertising agency as media buyer, working for big clients such as General Motors (Holden), Discovery Channel and others, and big corporations' environments sometimes are very toxic and lead people to burnout. If there's one thing I've learnt in these years, burnout is not a badge of honour. Yeah sure, there's a level of self satisfaction knowing you're kicking goals and achieving great things, but at what cost?
I challenge you, do one thing for your soul today. I decided to take a break and read at least a single chapter of my book and choose to really be present, replenishing my soul.
