A little price update 💸
With this little before & now photo, I thought it was the perfect time to share a small update and reflect on how far this little business has come. 🖤
When I first started out 5 years ago, I was renting a little room inside a health facility and my prices were $80. Fast forward to now, and I have my very own studio right on the main street.
I’ve worked so hard to grow, improve and create a space that I’m genuinely so proud of. I’ve also tried SO hard to keep my prices as low as possible because I truly want to keep my services affordable for you all.
But unfortunately, everything costs more these days — products, supplies, bills and just the general cost of running a business.
I’ve held off on increasing my prices for as long as I possibly could, but from this month there will be a $5 price increase to my services.
It’s a small increase, but one that I need to make to keep my little business sustainable and continue providing the same quality service you know and love. 🤍
I hope you all understand, and as always, I’m so incredibly grateful for every single person who has supported me along the way — whether you’ve booked with me, recommended me, liked my posts or simply cheered me on.
From a little rented room, through some really challenging years, to having my own studio on the main street… I’m so proud of how far I’ve come, and so grateful to everyone who has been a part of the journey. 🖤✨

A little update from me and R. Massage Therapy. 💚
As most of you already know, life has been a little upside down since Jade's accident on 21/07. Between hospital, appointments, recovery and finding our feet with a completely new routine, massage has had to take a bit of a back seat.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of my wonderful clients for your patience, understanding and kindness over the past couple of months. ❤️ I know some of you have had to wait a little longer between appointments, reschedule, or just be a little more flexible with me — and I genuinely appreciate every bit of understanding you’ve shown.
We’re finally starting to settle into more of a routine, so I’m slowly finding my way back into work and getting R. Massage Therapy ticking along again. Things may still look a little different for a while, and I’ll be taking things at a manageable pace, but I’m really looking forward to seeing all your familiar faces again.
The support we’ve received has been incredible, and we honestly feel so lucky to have such amazing people around us who have gone above and beyond to help us through this. We have some absolute legends in our lives who have put together a fundraiser for Jade. 💚

If you’re local and can make it along to the fundraiser, please pop in and have a chat. And sharing the event or spreading the word means so much to us. ❤️
Thank you again to everyone who has checked in, sent messages, supported both our businesses, or simply given us a bit of understanding while we navigate all of this.
Slowly but surely, we’re finding our new normal.
And yes… R. Massage Therapy is still here, and I’m very much looking forward to getting you all back on the table. 😂💆♀️💚
See you soon! xx

The August newsletter is officially landing in inboxes today! 🕊️
This month, I’m opening up about a few personal life updates, plus sharing a deeper look into how I custom-tailor my treatments for your body’s daily changes.
Our bodies are constantly in flux—whether you are navigating hormonal shifts, managing a busy lifestyle, or recovering from a stubborn injury. This personalized care applies to every body, male or female. Because you are never in the exact same place twice, I will always adjust my approach based on what you need in the moment—whether that means gently working through a muscle strain, backing off the pressure for sensitive nerves, or focusing entirely on deep relaxation.
⚠️ Please note: This issue also includes an important update regarding an upcoming price increase taking effect this October, so please be sure to have a quick read through.
✨ Not on the list? Send me a message with your email and I'll add you to the very sporadic newsletter mailing list.

Thank you all so much for the love, support, kind messages and well wishes over the past week. We have felt every bit of it, and it has meant more than you'll ever know.
As many of you know, Jade was intubated following the accident last Tuesday before being airlifted to Hobart. He remained sedated until after a five-hour surgery the following day.
He sustained a dislocated elbow, a compound fracture of his ulna, four fractures to his femur, and a significant laceration to his calf. Unfortunately, all of his injuries are on his right-hand side, which will make his recovery and mobility a little more challenging.
For now, Jade is bed-bound and will likely remain that way for the next few weeks, aside from short physiotherapy sessions and being assisted with showering. We know there is still a long road ahead, but we're taking things one day at a time and celebrating every little milestone.
As for the clinic, I will be returning to work next week and will continue working until Jade is discharged home. Once he's home, my availability will depend on the level of care he needs. Because of that uncertainty, I've made the difficult decision to turn off online bookings and not accept any new appointments for the remainder of this year.
To everyone who already has an appointment booked, please know that when you're in my treatment room, that time is yours. My focus will always be on you and the care you need. In many ways, being able to do what I love also gives me a little space to reset, and I'm grateful to be able to continue caring for others during this time.
Thank you again for your understanding, your patience, and for continuing to keep Jade in your thoughts. We appreciate every single one of you. 🖤
As many of you may have figured out, my husband Jade was the motorcyclist involved in the accident in Wivenhoe yesterday. He was taken to Burnie before being flown to Hobart where he is currently in ICU.
He has sustained extensive injuries, and the road ahead will be long with a lot of recovery and rehabilitation. But we're incredibly grateful that his brain and spine are both intact. Bones heal, and with time, patience and determination, we'll take this one step at a time-literally.
If I need to cancel any appointments in the following weeks, I am incredibly sorry and will endeavour to get you booked back in as soon as possible. Everything is a bit up in the air at this stage so I'm just going with the flow this week and will tend to next weeks appointments over the weekend.
We are incredibly lucky to have such an amazing community around us and we appreciate all the love and support we have already been provided. Please continue to keep him in your prayers and send all the positive healing vibes his way. ❤️🙏🏻

New financial year, a little more availability ✨
As we move into the new financial year, I'll be opening an additional day of appointments every second Monday.
My hope is that this creates a little more flexibility and helps you access support when you need it, without such a long wait.
September is already filling quickly, so keep an eye on Fridays for updated appointment times.
