Always good catching up with my mate Frank Miranda over a coffee.

You might know Frank as Mr Accordion Man 🎶🇮🇹 but behind that accordion is also the President of the Perth Italian Festival.

We had a good chinwag, plenty of laughs and of course a little bit of Italian talk thrown in for good measure.

And I can officially let the cat out of the bag…

I’m taking a well earned break and heading off to Malaysia and Singapore for a bit of food, sightseeing, and to recharge the batteries.

Bossman’s Barber Shop will be closed while I’m away, but don’t worry… bookings are now open for when I return, so if you’re due for a fresh cut or beard tidy up, jump online and lock in your appointment before the calendar fills up.

The Perth Italian Festival delivered once again… and this one felt even more special.

From catching up with familiar faces from last year, to making new friendships on the spot… that’s what it’s all about. Community, culture and connection.

Seeing my mum, my uncle, my aunty, and so many of my extended family, friends and loyal clients come through meant everything. Truly felt like one big Italian Sunday with famiglia.

Massive grazie to Perth Italian Festival for the opportunity to be part of such a beautiful event. To share my craft, represent my roots and most importantly, help raise funds for Lifeline… that’s something I’m really proud of.

And somewhere in between all that… I may or may not have personally taken down 22 zeppole, all in the name of quality control 🤌🏼🇮🇹 no regrets. Big amore to the legends at the WA Italian Club for keeping me well fed.
