What a bittersweet day yesterday was!

I kept myself together all day until you all left, then had a cry 😅.

I am feeling alot of things at the moment, but I am mostly just thankful.

✨️Thankful that I got to run a business that I loved for almost 9 years.

✨️Thankful for Donna and Maria helping to keep it all going while I had babies.

✨️Thankful for the wonderful relationships I've made with clients over the years.

✨️Thankful that I can look back on this chapter of my life with fondness.

Not everyone gets the opportunity to have a career that they can genuinely say they loved. I am so lucky that I got to do that for so long.

Thank you to all of you for supporting me along the way and trusting me to look after you. From the bottom of my heart 💞

As most of you know, I will be closing my doors at Christmas. I have two work days left and have heavily discounted my stock. All retail stock is 50% off, while stocks last.

Hey everyone! It’s Donna here 😅

As some of you may know (most probably do not) today was my last day at The Sensory.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure for the last 6 years to have met all of you and been lucky enough to pamper and spoil you all.

New adventures now await me closer to home.

Thank you for all the conversations we’ve shared and the many belly laughs and the few occasional tears.

Before I officially sign off and hand all social media back to Tahl, she’s been more than my boss for a long time and I’ll miss her greatly but we’ll never be strangers and who knows where I might pop up in the future! (Honestly who else will put up with my complaining except her 😂)

As most of you know, we've been closed for a little while now while Donna and I are on maternity leave.

Our beautiful boys arrived three weeks apart and are both doing very well.

I am yet to set a date on when we will be opening again. I know many of you are waiting and I do apologise for the inconvenience it is causing you. We all know that bubbas grow up way too quickly and the idea of missing it at the moment is just breaking my heart. Hubby put it into words really well yesterday - 'You'll never regret not going to work, but you will always regret missing out on these moments'

That being said, I am taking it week by week and will absolutely be returning when I feel I am ready. Donna is planning on returning in September. Naturally, when we do open again, our hours will be different than before. I will keep you updated on those.

We have quite a long wait list for clients wanting treatments when we are back. We will be contacting people in the order they were placed on the list, to keep it fair for everyone. If you are not yet on the list and would like to be, please let us know.

It has also been brought to my attention that our phone wasn't working for a period of time. I was unaware of that and I do apologise. It has been rectified now. We are only responding to text messages right now (as stated on our answering machine message) if you have sent us a text and we haven't responded, please send it again. We weren't getting these either.
