Most people rehearse what they are going to say before a consultation. Olivia has heard it all anyway.
She sits down with people at every stage, some who know exactly what they want, others who just know something feels off and have not quite worked out the words for it. Both are completely normal ways to start. Her whole approach is the same one the team works from: look properly, ask the right questions, and build a plan around what your skin is actually dealing with, not what you think you are supposed to say.
If a concern has been sitting with you for a while, unspoken or half-explained, that is exactly what a consultation is for.
Assess first, treat with intention, and let's work out what your skin actually needs.
Book a consultation with one of our registered nurses, and we will take it from there.

Skin needling calls for patience, and spring happens to offer some.
A few sessions, spaced apart. Your skin is doing quiet work in between. That is skin needling, and spring is a sensible time to start.
UV is lower now, which gives your skin an easier run to settle before summer.
If it has been on your mind, let's talk about it. Now is a great time.

Drinking more water will not fix skin that is dry for a different reason.
Hydration works from two directions, and they do genuinely different things. What you drink supports your whole body, skin included, but it is one factor among several, not a stand-alone fix for skin that feels tight or looks dull. Topical hydration works directly on the surface, drawing moisture in and helping the skin hold onto it, which water intake alone cannot do.
Neither one replaces the other. Skin that still feels dry despite drinking plenty of water is often missing support from the outside, and skin loaded with serums but skipping the basics is often missing support from within.
Assess first, treat with intention, and let's work out what your skin is actually missing.

The quietest part of a facial is often the one people remember most.
The mask stage is often the quietest part of the treatment, and also one of the most effective. While it works on the skin, supporting hydration and letting active ingredients settle in properly, it also gives you a genuine pause, warm, still, nowhere else to be for those few minutes. Most people say it is the part they remember most, not because it is dramatic, but because it rarely happens anywhere else in their week.
Not every step needs to be active to matter.
Book a facial and give yourself the pause.

Acne rarely travels alone. The redness and marks it leaves behind often outlast the breakouts themselves.
IPL works with light, and for acne-prone skin, it is generally used to address the aftermath of breakouts: visible redness, inflammation, and pigmented marks beneath the surface. It is often paired with LED first, a bit like a proper warm-up, before the IPL does its part. Most people carry on with their day afterwards, sometimes with a bit of flush, nothing more dramatic than that.
Whether it suits your skin comes down to a proper assessment. Acne presents differently for everyone, and what your skin needs alongside IPL, if anything, depends on what is actually driving it.
Assess first, treat with intention, and let's work out if IPL has a place in your plan.

A month of work behind reception, and this is where it landed.
We have spent the past month redesigning our reception area from the ground up. New built-in retail shelving went in a few weeks back, and this final stage brought it all together, smoothing out the space and finishing it with our logo front and centre.
It's a space that finally looks as considered as the rest of the clinic.
Come and see it for yourself next time you are in.

Spring brings out a lot of skincare advice, and not all of it holds up.
Every year around this time, the same handful of assumptions do the rounds. That sunscreen can wait until it properly warms up. That an overcast sky lets you off the hook. That skin which sailed through winter is somehow in the clear for good. That a full routine overhaul is the fastest way to a fresh start. None of these hold up particularly well once you look at what is actually happening to your skin as the season shifts.
Most of it comes down to timing mismatches, believing your skin is on the same clock as the weather, when really it responds to things like UV and barrier stress that move on their own schedule.
Assess first, treat with intention, and let's separate what is worth doing from what is just noise.
Book a consultation and we will take it from there.

You know a facial was good when you are still thinking about it the next morning.
You only really notice the quiet once you are lying there with a mask on your face and nowhere else to be. No phone in reach, nothing to check, just someone else paying attention to your skin for a while so you do not have to think about it yourself.
It tends to be the kind of thing people end up telling a friend about, which works out nicely this September, since referring someone new comes with a small thank you from us, too.

If a facial has been on your mind, or a friend's, this is a pretty good week to book one in.

Pigmentation has a season it prefers, and it is not the one everyone assumes.
Sun exposure drives it, so the warmer months tend to build it up, and the cooler ones give the skin a little more room to work with.
Treat pigmentation in spring or summer, and you are working against the very thing that caused it. Coming out of winter, UV levels are at their lowest point of the year, making this a calmer stretch for the skin to settle.
That is not urgency talking. It is simply easier to do this kind of work well right now than it will be once the UV climbs again.
Assess first, treat with intention, and let the season do some of the work for you.
If pigmentation, sun spots, or uneven skin tone have been on your mind, book a consultation, and we will take it from there.
