Before your tan ....everything you need to know ✨

Prep is everything, and I’ll guide you through it so you feel completely ready.

The day before: shave or wax and exfoliate your whole body with a mitt - this gives us a fresh, clean base for your tan.

On the day: no moisturiser and no deodorant. Moisturiser creates a barrier, and deodorant can cause discolouration (we don’t want green armpits its not a look 😉).

After your tan: wear loose, dark clothing and stay cool please avoid anything that makes you sweat. Also keep away from water while your tan is developing.

I’ll walk you through everything on the day and send your aftercare so your tan lasts as long as possible (usually 7–14 days, depending on care).

Over the years, I’ve made it my mission to create the perfect tan for you - not just a tan, but the right colour for your skin.

From the minute you walk through the door, it’s all about you. What you’re wearing, where you’re going, your natural skin tone… everything is taken into consideration so your tan looks seamless and feels like your skin.

A big part of that comes down to the product I use.

I use a beautiful brand OzTan - it’s something I’ve chosen very intentionally. The ingredients matter to me, and I love that it’s made from naturally derived ingredients and is gentle on the skin, especially for those who can be a little more sensitive. It gives the most beautiful, natural colour and develops into a really flawless, even finish.

But it’s not just about what happens in the appointment.

Before you even arrive, I’ll send you everything you need to prep your skin properly - because a beautiful tan always starts with a really good base.

And after you leave, I’ll guide you on exactly how to care for it, so you get the most out of your tan and it wears as evenly and as long as possible.

Everyone’s a little different, but generally your tan will last anywhere from a week to two weeks, depending on how well it’s looked after and how hydrated your skin is.

I don’t rush the process, and I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to make sure everything is just right because that’s what keeps my clients coming back ❤️🌼

This business is truly my pride and joy ,something I’ve built from the ground up, starting in my kitchen in Padbury when my babies were still so little. From there, life moved us to Wanneroo, where I created my first home studio at the front of the house… and now here in Carramar, Golden Touch has continued to grow into what it is today.

What makes this all so special to me isn’t just the growth - it’s without a doubt the people.

I’m incredibly proud to say that many of my clients have been with me since those early Padbury days. I’ve had the privilege of being part of so many life moments… school formals, graduations, engagements, weddings, baby showers, birthdays — 16ths, 18ths, 21sts, 40ths, 50ths and everything in between.

To be trusted in those moments is something I’ll never take lightly.

For me, this has always been about more than just tanning. It’s about the experience. The care. The attention to detail. Creating a space where you feel comfortable, looked after, and leave feeling on fire 🔥

I pride myself on going above and beyond, being flexible, accommodating, and really taking the time to understand what each client needs. From the products I use to the results I deliver, everything is chosen with intention to ensure you’re getting the absolute best for your skin.
