✨ Sometimes the plan changes… and that’s okay! ✨

This gorgeous lady came to me a little while ago with a goal of starting her grey-blending journey after years of colouring her hair at home.

We started with the intention of gradually lightening and blending things through, but after a couple of appointments we realised the lightening process wasn’t quite giving us the result we had hoped for. Rather than pushing her hair further than we were comfortable with, we changed direction. 💕

The new goal? Not necessarily to embrace all of her grey, but to camouflage it and soften the contrast so her regrowth wasn't quite so noticeable.

And this is where having a plan and being willing to adapt comes in. 🙌🏼

Working together, taking the condition of the hair into consideration and allowing ourselves to go with the flow, we created a softer, more blended result that feels much more manageable for her.

This gorgeous client had been keeping her hair dark for a very long time, but as her natural colour became increasingly white, the contrast between her regrowth and artificial colour became harder and harder to ignore.

Eventually, she was finding herself back in the salon every 3 weeks because within as little as 10 days, those bright roots were already making an appearance! 😅
