October means something a little different to me this year. 💚

I’ve signed up to walk 60km for One Foot Forward, raising awareness and funds for mental health research.

Mental health is something that is very close to my heart. Like so many people, I’ve had times in my own life where things have felt heavy, and I also know what it’s like to watch people you care about struggle behind a smile.

It’s one of the reasons creating Renata Revive has always been about more than treatments for me. I want it to be a place where people feel safe, where they can switch off for a while, be themselves, talk if they want to, or simply have someone there without needing to explain anything.

Sometimes we really have no idea what someone else is carrying.

So throughout October, every kilometre I walk will be for the people who are struggling, the people we’ve lost, the people supporting someone they love, and the people who are quietly putting one foot in front of the other every single day.

60km. One foot forward at a time. 💚
