Every recommendation, tag, share and quiet mention to a friend means more to me than you may realise.

Supporting a small business can be as simple as telling someone about your experience, and each time you do, you help my business continue to grow.

To every person who has visited Lush Aesthetics Clinic, returned, recommended me or simply followed along, thank you. Your trust and support are genuinely appreciated.

Your treatment plan should be as individual as you are.

A treatment that may be appropriate for one person may not be suitable for another. Recommendations can vary depending on your facial anatomy, skin quality, medical history, lifestyle, individual concerns and treatment goals.

At Lush Aesthetics Clinic, Rebecca provides an individual consultation and assessment before discussing suitable options, expected outcomes, potential risks and alternatives.

All aesthetic procedures carry risks. Suitability can only be determined following consultation with a qualified health practitioner. Individual results and experiences may vary.

A deeper cleanse for smoother, refreshed-looking skin.

Aspect Dr Deep Clean is a purifying facial cleanser formulated to thoroughly remove makeup, excess oil and daily impurities without leaving the skin feeling stripped.

Its exfoliating ingredients help to:

• Remove accumulated dead skin cells
• Support clearer-looking, less congested skin
• Improve the appearance of uneven texture
• Leave the skin feeling clean, soft and refreshed
• Prepare the skin for the next steps in your skincare routine

Deep Clean is particularly suited to oily, combination, congested, sun-damaged or thickened skin.

Directions for use:

Dispense 2–3 pumps into wet hands and gently emulsify. Massage over the face, avoiding the eye area, then remove thoroughly with warm water or a damp facial cloth. Use morning and evening, or as recommended for your skin.

Aspect Dr Deep Clean (RRP $65), along with a selection of other Aspect Dr skincare products, is available at Lush Aesthetics Clinic.

Mention this post to receive yours for only $60

* As active skincare is not suitable for everyone, individual product advice is recommended.

Why does facial bone matter as we age?

Think of the face a little like a house. The facial bones provide part of the underlying framework, while the retaining ligaments anchor the soft tissues. Muscle, fat and skin form the layers over this structure.

With age, the facial skeleton does not simply “collapse.” It gradually remodels, with bone resorption occurring in particular areas. The orbital openings and the opening around the nose may widen, while the midface, jaw and chin can lose some projection and support.

As the underlying framework changes, the tissues above it may no longer sit in quite the same way. At the same time, facial fat compartments can lose volume or redistribute, skin becomes less elastic, and the muscle and connective-tissue layers also change.

Retaining ligaments create relatively fixed points within the face. As the surrounding, more mobile tissues change position or volume, they can drape or collect around these tethered areas. This can contribute to:

⚪️ Facial hollowing around the temples, under-eyes and cheeks

⚪️ Greater definition of the nasolabial folds between the nose and mouth

⚪️ More noticeable marionette lines extending down from the corners of the mouth

⚪️ Changes through the lower face and jawline

Bone remodelling is only one part of facial ageing. Skin, fat, muscle, ligaments, genetics, hormones, general health and environmental exposure all contribute and every face ages differently.

Rebecca offers individual aesthetic consultations to assess facial anatomy, discuss your concerns and explain options that may be appropriate.

* General educational information only. Individual anatomy, suitability and outcomes vary.

Facial fat is not one continuous layer. It is arranged in separate compartments that contribute to facial contour and support.

Over time, these compartments can change at different rates. Some may reduce in volume, while others may redistribute or become more noticeable in different areas. This can contribute to changes around the temples, under-eyes, cheeks and lower face.

Facial ageing is influenced by more than fat alone. Changes in the skin, facial bones, muscles and supporting tissues also play a role.

There is no exact timeline, and every face ages differently. Genetics, hormones, general health, lifestyle and environmental exposure can all influence these changes.

Rebecca offers individual aesthetic consultations to discuss concerns about facial volume loss and the options that may be appropriate. Your facial anatomy, medical history, concerns and goals are considered, with potential benefits, risks and limitations discussed as part of the consultation process. Bookings to discuss your concerns can be made in the bio.

General information only. Individual suitability and outcomes vary.

Sometimes the person who needs a little care and attention is you. 🤍

Life gets busy, and it’s easy to put yourself at the bottom of the list. Consider this your permission slip to take some time for yourself without feeling guilty about it.

Self-care doesn’t have to be extravagant. It might be taking a quiet hour, going for a walk, booking something you’ve been putting off, catching up with a friend, or simply doing something that makes you feel good.

Whatever it looks like for you, you’re allowed to make yourself a priority too.

A little reminder from Lush Aesthetics Clinic ✨

Do something nice for yourself today.

Why more isn’t always better

When it comes to aesthetic treatments, my approach is focused on balance, facial anatomy and individualised care rather than simply doing more.

Every face is different. Aesthetic treatment planning should consider your natural features, facial movement, proportions, skin, concerns and personal goals.

For me, the aim is not to change what makes you you, but to develop a considered treatment plan that is appropriate for your individual needs.

Sometimes that may mean a subtle approach. Sometimes it may mean that treatment isn’t recommended at all.

At Lush Aesthetics Clinic, every treatment begins with a consultation and assessment, where we can discuss your concerns, available options, expected outcomes, limitations and potential risks.

Natural. Balanced. Individualised.

Always learning, always evolving 🤍

I recently had the opportunity to attend the Fresh Summit Conference, spending time learning, listening and connecting with others within the aesthetics industry.

Ongoing education is something I genuinely value. Aesthetic medicine continues to evolve, and for me, education isn’t just about learning new techniques, it’s about continually reviewing how and why we do things and ensuring best practice and patient safety remain at the forefront.

As a Registered Nurse, I believe we never stop learning. Continuing to develop my knowledge allows me to bring a considered, evidence-based approach to the care I provide at Lush Aesthetics Clinic.

I’m looking forward to bringing what I’ve learnt back into the clinic. 🤍
