How do I get stickies?
Stickies happen when the lashes are not isolated correctly, so instead of glueing an extension to one natural lash it is stuck to multiple. Or there wasn’t sufficient time for the glue to dry before letting it fall back in with the other lashes.
Stickies can also happen if the extensions are not being cleansed properly daily. The build up of natural oils, sleep, dirt, dead skin cells and makeup, can cause the lashes to clump together and stunt the growth.
Mascara and strip lash glue also causes the lashes to clump together and stunt the growth of natural lashes.

How to tell if I have stickies?
If your Lash Extensions are hurting or feel like they are pulling on each other. If they feel hard and bulky along the base so it feels like the lashes don’t seperate from each other. If your lashes fall out in big chunks stuck together.

What do I do if I have stickies?
You should contact your Lash Tech and ask them to have a look. If there is a lot of stickies in big clumps, not just 1 or 2 that can be easily fixed, it is recommended to remove the whole set and get a fresh set.

I have completed my Extensions courses and have been a qualified tech for 4.5 years. Before starting, I was all lashes with a certified Lash Extension Cleanser. I use correct isolation techniques, wait for the glue to dry sufficiently and then at the end of every appointment, I go through each single lash and make sure there is none stuck and if by chance there is (sometimes it’s unavoidable) I fix it then and there so you leave with precise application and comfortable long lasting lashes that fall out naturally with your lash cycle.
