It’s been a long time since my last post.
Some of my people know already, but a lot also don’t…

My parents are my Gods - as a lot of you know.

I am so close with my parents, so close that my husband and I choose to live with them despite having our own home to go to (where the clinic is located) we do this not only to care for my parents but because we just love each other so much.

The 1st of August, my Mum, husband and I witnessed my Dad throwing up copious amounts of blood and had to call the paramedics.
He was rushed to Sunshine Emergency where they stopped the bleed and he was later admitted to ICU. Dad spent a further 3 weeks in ICU in and out of comas and on a breathing tube.
My Dad, my incredibly strong Dad at the age of 51, passed away Tuesday 23rd of August at 1:30am.
We were together from my first breath till his last.

This terrible pain is unfortunately a pain that nearly all of us have either faced already or will face at some point in our lifetimes.
My Dad was lucky in a way to never know this pain.

Never take for granted the opportunity to tell the people that you love, that you love them.
I would tell my Dad this every single day and for that, I am grateful ❤️

Throughout all that hideous and never ending torture, I have been pregnant with AJ’s and my first child.
I am 9 months pregnant today!
She has been so healthy, resilient & strong throughout what was meant to be the best time in our lives, turned into the worst.
Being Mum & Dads only child, this is their first grandchild. I’d never seen Dad so excited to finally become a grandfather 💔

She really has been our light through this dark tunnel.

This leads me to the tertiary purpose of this post: taking leave!
I have been taking brow and lash appointments where I can the past few weeks and have availabilities to do anything except tattoo for the next week & a bit!

I will be closing up shop on Friday 28th of October at 2pm and will return to operating on Monday 23rd of January 2023, 9am.

From very young, till even a couple of weeks ago, people get so shocked when they find out she is my grandmother and it’s clear to see why! She is so damn beautiful, inside and out. I hope I look half as good as she does and achieve half as much as she has at this stage in life 😍

We managed to get her brows touched up before she heads back to her home in beautiful Canada 🇨🇦
Results SO natural, on the second pass it was difficult telling the difference between the microbladed hair strokes to the original brow hairs! That’s what we want people, au naturel 🤌🏽
