Things you probably didn’t know about me…

I actually gave myself contact dermatitis from not fully understanding the effects of gel polish on the skin. For anyone who doesn't know, gel products can cause contact dermatitis when they come into direct contact with the skin — especially if they're not cured properly or if there's overexposure. It can lead to irritation, itching, and sensitivity, which is exactly what happened to me.

Some people might assume this would make me want to stop doing nails… but it’s actually done the opposite. I love making women feel beautiful. Nails can make you feel powerful and confident — like a woman. Through this, I've learned how important it is to do nails safely and correctly.

The nails you see in this photo are press-ons I created using Gel-X tips, which I glued on using a hypoallergenic nail glue. This is now my future of nails — and no, it’s not the end of the world. It’s a fresh beginning. I’m still doing what I love and doing it with even more care, knowledge, and passion.
