Not everyone’s results last the same amount of time.
Things like stress on the day, medications, exercise, immune response and even your natural metabolism can shorten how long results last. Movement in certain areas and sun exposure also play a role.
Understanding this gives you realistic expectations and a tailored plan.

If you’ve seen a new spot and you’re starting to worry, these are some things to look out for.
If it’s small, and fades in winter it’s probably just a freckle and these are benign.
Sunspots are a bit different and come from years of UV exposure. They’re larger, flat and don’t fade.
The one to be careful of is a Melanoma. This is a cancerous overgrowth of melanocytes and can appear anywhere on the body, even under nails or hair.
So if you’re noticing a change in shape, size, colour or anything that doesn’t look right, always seek medical advice from your GP as soon as possible.

When introducing retinol into your skincare start like this:
→ First week 2x a week
→ Second week 3x a week
→ Third week every second night
→ Fourth week use nightly
If you get flaky or irritated, ease back a little, but expect an awkward phase you often need to ride out to see results.
Sandwich retinol between two hydrating products to take the sting out.
Be patient. Give it three to six months and you will see a real change.

Effective recovery after varicose vein treatment is all about avoiding things that cause vein dilation. Walking everyday activates the muscular pump, helping to clear blood from treated veins and reduce pressure.
Compression stockings can support healing by improving circulation, but their use depends on the type and size of the treated veins.
Heat exposure, including saunas and hot baths, are an absolute no because heat causes veins to dilate, potentially counteracting recovery efforts.

Skin health is equally important regardless of gender. As trust builds, male clients tend to open up about more concerns like fine lines and excess sweating.
Understanding and overcoming these reservations is the first step toward effective, tailored skincare solutions that benefit everyone.

Wondering when to start retinol? It comes down to your goal.
If you are treating acne, topical retinoids can be used as soon as breakouts begin. For anti‑ageing benefits, people often start in their mid-20s to early 30s.
And remember, it can’t be used while pregnant or breastfeeding.
