Nicky and I delve deeper into to why Biostimulators are here to stay!
One of the biggest shifts we’re seeing in aesthetics is moving away from chasing quick fixes and towards investing in the long-term health of the skin.
Biostimulators don’t simply mask ageing. They work by encouraging your body to produce its own collagen, gradually improving skin quality, strength and support over time.
Think of it like contributing to your retirement fund rather than living paycheck to paycheck.
The collagen you build today becomes the foundation your skin relies on in the years ahead. That’s why so many people are choosing treatments that focus on prevention and regeneration rather than correction alone.
Of course, biostimulators aren’t for everyone, and they’re not the only answer. The best treatment is always the one that’s right for your skin, your concerns and your long-term goals.
I’m excited to see this shift towards treatments that prioritise healthy, resilient skin, not just what we see in the mirror today.
Biostimulators are changing the way we think about skin rejuvenation.
Rather than simply adding volume, biostimulators work by encouraging your body’s own collagen production. Over the following weeks and months, your skin gradually becomes firmer, stronger and more resilient from within.
The result isn’t an “overdone” look, it’s healthier skin with improved structure, elasticity and quality.
Collagen naturally declines by around 1% every year after our mid-20s, which is why we start to notice skin becoming thinner, looser and less supported over time.
Biostimulators help slow that process by stimulating your skin’s natural regenerative response.
The best rejuvenation isn’t about changing the way you look. It’s about supporting your skin to function at its best for years to come.
The neck is one of the most overlooked areas when it comes to skin rejuvenation.
As we age, collagen and elastin naturally decline, leading to thinner, less elastic skin. Pearl Fractional works by stimulating your body’s own healing response, encouraging new collagen formation and gradually improving firmness, texture and skin quality.
Results continue to develop over the months following treatment, making it a fantastic option for clients wanting meaningful skin rejuvenation rather than just temporary hydration.
Winter is also the ideal season for laser resurfacing, as reduced UV exposure makes the healing process easier and helps protect your results.
If your neck has been bothering you more than your face lately, now is the perfect time to start.
Under the Neck Promo tab, in the book link in my bio, you can add your neck to any treatment for $125.

Ever wondered why a tattoo can look like it’s disappeared immediately after laser treatment?
What you’re seeing is called laser frosting, a temporary whitening effect that occurs when the laser energy interacts with the tattoo pigment.
Although the area may appear dramatically lighter straight away, the real work happens over the following weeks. The laser breaks the pigment into smaller particles, and your body’s immune system gradually clears them away.
This is why tattoo removal requires patience and multiple sessions. The laser starts the process, but your body does the rest.
In this case, we’re treating an unwanted eyebrow tattoo using a medical-grade Q-Switched laser.

Numbing cream and skin needling is one of the most misunderstood topics in aesthetics.
Many people believe that because some numbing ingredients can temporarily narrow blood vessels, they somehow stop the collagen-stimulating benefits of treatment.
The reality? Skin needling still creates the same controlled micro-injuries, triggers the same healing response, and stimulates the same collagen and elastin production.
Your skin is still receiving the oxygen, nutrients, and healing signals it needs to repair and regenerate.
Comfort and results don’t have to be mutually exclusive. ✨

Pigmentation is rarely just one thing.
This client had previously tried skin needling elsewhere with minimal improvement. When she came to us, we took a completely different approach.
We focused on creating the right foundation with targeted home care, including SPF, vitamin C, hydration and pigment-regulating ingredients.
We carefully assessed the depth and type of pigmentation present and selected treatments accordingly. Starting with IPL and 532nm Q-Switched pigment peels for superficial pigment, then progressing to Q-Switch and Laser Genesis for deeper concerns and overall skin rejuvenation.
The key to successful pigmentation treatment isn’t finding the “best” laser.
It’s understanding the skin in front of you, treating the cause, and combining the right home care with the right in-clinic treatments.
Pigmentation is a journey, but with the right plan, the results are worth it.
✨ Save this if you’re struggling with pigmentation.

Most people assume skin tags and small benign lesions can only be removed by freezing them off.
While cryotherapy certainly has its place, it’s not always my first choice—especially around delicate areas like the eyes.
For this patient, I used diathermy, a treatment that uses a fine electrical current to precisely target the lesion. This allows for greater accuracy and control while minimising treatment to the surrounding skin.
The second image shows the area immediately after treatment. The blood vessels have been coagulated and the lesions cauterised, allowing the healing process to begin straight away.
One of the reasons I prefer diathermy for these types of lesions is the precision it offers, particularly in areas where accuracy matters most.
Have you ever had a skin tag removed before?
