Hello Beautiful Luna Fam…

On Wednesday morning, every solo business owners worst nightmare came true for me…

As I was leaving the house to head to work I tripped up in my own driveway and broke not only my ankle but also the bone that runs down the side of my foot. The doctor told me he’d never, in all his years of being in orthopaedics, seen anyone break their foot in these two spots at the one time. 🤦🏻‍♀️

So after multiple x-rays and chats with a few specialists, they’ve decided that I need to stay off it completely until the swelling goes down and then reassess if I’ll need surgery to pin the bone back together.

At this stage, I have absolutely no idea how long my recovery will take or how long I’ll be off my feet for.

And while it absolutely breaks my heart to do this, I have no choice but to temporarily close the salon. I have tried to think of every solution possible but I just can’t do hair on crutches and I can’t do it sitting down.

I will not be taking any further bookings at this stage, and at the start of each week I’ll message everyone to let them know if their appt needs to be cancelled or if I am back in action.

I know this is 100% not a great option for anyone and if you need to see someone else, I completely understand and am most happy to send you your colour notes if you’d like to go elsewhere.

You have no idea how much this breaks my heart. I hate not being able to do the job that I love, but most of all, I hate letting you down - and for that I am so sorry.

I always try my best to make things work but this time I just can’t. It’s very frustrating.

Thank you so much for understanding and support as always - I know I’m the luckiest girl to have the most amazing clients, and once again… I’m sorry for letting you all down.

I have put off doing this for as long as possible but it’s literally come to a point where due to the ever growing costs of stock, products, utilities and rent, it is no longer sustainable for me to not increase my prices.

I have kept my prices as fair as I possibly can because I know the ever growing cost of living is tricky, so I thank you so much for your understanding.

These prices will be effective from Tuesday the 16th of July. If you have any questions whatsoever, please don’t hesitate to send me a message on 0435 770 275.

Friendly reminder that my last day is 4 weeks from today and then I’ll be on holidays for nearly a month.

My last day is Tuesday the 21st of May.

I cannot stress this enough… if you do want one more appointment before I go please book it asap. Even with my extended hours I have very little space left. I really don’t want anyone to miss out!
