I wanted to jump on and share a bit of insight into why i love iamnudee as a business and what it represents.

A few years back i was a spray tan technician and i quickly realised that a lot of women didn't know much about the pre-tanning prep they were supposed to be doing, and how important it was.

The ones that did know were scrubbing their skin raw with exfoliating soap bars or really harsh chemicals (including me)! I wanted to find something that wasn't going to rip my skin apart and could easily be incorporated into my existing skin care routine.

I first came across Turkish Silk Gloves through a brand on TikTok and purchased one on a whim. Honestly at first I was kind of let down! The material just didn't feel like it would exfoliate anything let alone get rid of my stubborn old tan. After my 3rd attempt at using it, and finally following the directions, my skin was visibly peeling within seconds!

I told everyone, I mean I was marketing hard! At some point I decided that i loved the idea of this product so much i would build a business around it! I don't just want to 'sell a product' i want to provide an experience! I want the pre-tan ritual to be enjoyable, relaxing and I want to give this experience to my friends, family and strangers on the internet.

It can be hard running a small online business. I get extreme anxiety in the realm of Instagram and TikTok sometimes having to take myself offline for days at a time. But the learning experience and the support i have received throughout this journey is truely incredible.

What's the difference and when should you be concerned?

If you experience your skin turn a light pinkish colour during the exfoliation process, then this is perfectly normal and can be due to simple factors such as the temp of the water you are soaking in.

f you experience your skin turn an excessive colour red then this may be due to over-exfoliation, which can also cause issues like dryness, irritation, and even breakouts. To avoid over-exfoliation, we recommend exfoliating once a week!
