I’ve been doing Britt’s hair for almost 10 years now and honestly we’ve covered every topic imaginable. Hair, life changes, big moments, dramas and all the random in-between bits too.

And that’s my favourite part of hairdressing.

Of course I love creating beautiful hair (this blonde though 💅) but I also love the connection. The chats. Remembering your stories.

In the best possible turn of events, Mylie has decided to take a massive leap in her career and officially come on board as a freelance stylist now that she’s completed her qualifications 🥹🤍

So what does this mean?

Honestly… probably the best outcome possible.
The three of us work ridiculously well together, so now we’ll each be running our own books under one roof, hyping each other up, sharing snacks, and throwing banter around like it’s a full-time job.

Same salon vibes.
Same great hair.
Just evolved a little 🤍

A little salon update 🤍

I won’t bore you with “the economy this, the economy that”…
(but also… respectfully… what is going on )

After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to move Social Hair Co into a solo setup

Sadly this means Mylie will be finishing up with us in a few weeks (and watching her grow has been such a highlight , we’re so proud of her 🥹) please give her a follow to watch her journey here

Courtney will still be here! She’s stepping into her next chapter as an independent stylist (very exciting for her) you’ll just book with her directly via .hair (if you’re not already make sure to give her a follow!)

And as for me, well you’ll see me behind the chair more still doing what I love

There’s no bad blood here at all, just a shift to keep things sustainable.

I’m so grateful for my team, past and present, and for every single client who has supported us along the way 🤍
