Woodside Hair & Beauty

We’re growing our team 🤍

Woodside Hair & Beauty is looking for a 3rd or 4th Year Hairdressing Apprentice to join us.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the industry, eager to continue learning and developing their skills, and loves creating beautiful hair and making clients feel their best.

You’ll be joining a supportive, welcoming salon with a strong focus on education, creativity and quality service.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
Send your resume through to [email protected] or DM us for more information.

Owning a salon has taught me that sometimes it’s not about needing more clients. It’s about protecting the bookings you already have 🤍

These are 3 things I’ve learnt can quietly cost you money every single week:

1. Not securing appointments with card details
2. Leaving gaps in the day with no plan to fill them
3. Not following up after a no-show

Small changes, but they can make such a difference to how smoothly (and profitably) your week runs.

Definitely lessons I’ve learnt along the way as a salon owner, and I’m still learning every day.

Fellow salon owners/hairdressers… what’s one booking mistake you learnt the hard way?

De-influencing you as a colourist who actually protects your hair 🤍

Because sometimes the best thing for your hair is doing less, not more.

Save this for your next colour appointment & tell me which one surprised you the most 👀

A little something to sip & snack on while we work our magic ✨

Because your appointment should feel like a treat from start to finish 🤍

A little update 🤍

To continue providing the high-quality services, premium products, and personalised experience you know and love, there will be a small price adjustment across all services from Tuesday, 28th July.

From this date, each individual service will increase by $10.

This decision wasn’t made lightly, but it allows me to continue investing in the salon, ongoing education, and the products and services I use, while ensuring I can provide every client with the time, care, and attention they deserve.

I truly appreciate every single one of you for supporting my small business. Your loyalty means more than you know, and I’m so grateful that you’ve chosen our salon to be part of your hair and beauty journey.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. I can’t wait to welcome you into the salon soon 🤍
